JD's P.O.V
Why is it that every time I don't want to see here face, I see her?
And why does every time I look for her, I can't find her?
Is she mocking me or what?! If it is, well, I am not surprised why I am feeling very, so much, annoyed right now.
And seeing her face to face in this crowded dinning table? Argh! I want to slap her! If only I can! Psh! Damn her! I hate her!
Damn her being clueless! Psh!
"So Rina, ano na ba plano mo para sa nalalapit na birthday mo?" my father asked.
Wait...birthday?
I raised my right brow then looked towards her. I am asking her why and how that thing happened through eye contact but she did not bother to explain anything to me.
Psh! So this first kiss virgin celebrates birthdays too huh?
"Gusto mo ba magpaparty tayo dito sa mansyon?" my father speaks again.
"Wag na po Papa!" she shakes her head. "Okay na po sa akin yung simpleng handaan lang."
"But hija, birthdays only comes once a year. So why not make it grand?" the old man said then added, "Kung iniisip mo yung gastos, well, don't worry about that. Ako na bahala sa lahat ng gagastusin. Sabihin mo na lang kung ano yung theme ng party mo."
"Naku wag na po!" she insisted. "Gastos lang po yun. Saka okay na po sa akin yung tayo-tayo na lang. Wag na po tayong magparty."
"How old are you anyway?" I said between their conversation.
She slowly looks at my direction. "19." she said in confused tone.
"Ah..." I just said then focus my attention to the food.
'Birthday huh...' I said at the back of my mind then smirk.
Rina's P.O.V
Napatingin na lang ako sa kanya. Ngumisi sya matapos nyang tanungin kung ilang taon na ba ako. Yung ngiti nya, nakakaloko.
'Ano kayang naiisip nya this time?' tanong ko sa sarili ko.
Knowing JD, paniguradong hindi maganda yun.
"Sya nga pala hija..."
Muli akong napatingin sa direksyon nila Papa at Mama. "Bakit po?"
"Malapit ka nang gumadruate di ba?"
"Opo." bakit natanong ni Papa?
"I have a proposal for you..."
"Po?" anong proposal?
"We'll talk about that later..." sabi nya saka napatingin sa direksyon ng kumakaing si JD saka napangisi.
Tsk. Parehas talaga si Papa at si JD when it comes to smirking. Siguro yun lang yung namana ni JD sa Papa nya.
Speaking of namana, ano kayang itsura ng Mama ni JD? Wala kasi akong napapansing litrato ng babae dito na maaaring maging itsura ng Mama ni JD.
