February break was finally over. Tori woke up and felt something in her stomach. It was the butterflies. She was so excited to see Nathan, she even had a dream of him the night before. She dressed up in some burgundy leggings, black boots with a gold buckle, a black top and a gold bracelet. She straightened her hair and put on some perfume. She went into school that day not knowing it would be a day she would never forget. Tori and britain walked around the hall and Tori was so antsy to see Nathan. They passed by him and he smiled at Tori, she smiled back. It made her day. At least she thought. Britain went to class early while tori went to the bathroom. After using the bathroom, Tori walked to class. Her heart raced because she wanted to see Nathan. She had so many things run through her mind. She thought of dating Nathan, or knowing she got to see his face everyday. She got closer to the class. As she walked down the hall, she passed by miles. She didn't even care. She just kept walking. When she walked into class she saw a sympathetic look on her face. Tori walked over and smiled. "Tori. Did you hear?" Britain asked. "No...hear what?" Tori asked. "It's about Nathan. He was talking to mr. Howard." Britain said softly. "Is he moving?" Tori asked slowly putting down her binder. Britain slowly nodded. Tori felt a lump in her throat. "No, your lying." Tori laughed. "I'm not." Britain said with sympathy. Tori turned around, her heart pounding. Nathan was talking to mr. Howard. "Mr Howard tomorrow is my last day here." Nathan said. Mr Howard talked to Nathan. Tori's eyes filled with tears. She felt weak in her bones and her heart was racing. She looked back at Britain. Britain saw the sadness in her eyes. "I knew this was gonna happen." Tori mumbled while turning around. She felt like she was having a nightmare. Nathan looked over at tori as he went to sit down. She looked down so he wouldn't see the tears in her eyes.

That day at lunch, Tori didn't eat. She just stared at her food. She remembered when Nathan sat next to her at lunch and she felt sick. "I can't believe this is happening." Tori said. Britain rubbed her back. "This is why I should've never let my feelings get the best of me. Fuck." Tori said. Tori went to last period and put her head down. "Tori what's wrong?" Adrian asked. "Nothing." Tori replied with her head still down. "Wanna get Sprite?" Adrian asked. Tori got up, her eyes red and no emotion on her face. Tori and Adrian went to grab some Sprite. They walked down the hall and she just looked at the ground while she walked. "Something wrong?" Adrian asked. "Nah." Tori replied. "Tori, in your best friend, you can tell me anything." Adrian said with a smile." Nathan's moving." Tori said trying not to cry. Adrian gave her a hug and she cried. Getting tears on his blue hoodie.

The next day. It was Nathan's departure. When Tori got to class, she wasn't expecting anything good. To even make things worse, he was leaving early. She looked up at the ceiling, holding back her tears. The boys in the class gave him a dap and said their goodbyes. "Mr Howard it was nice knowing you." Nathan laughed, shaking hands. Tori turned around and looked at Britain. Britain looked upset for Tori. Nathan walked to the door and looked back at the class and waved with a smile. Tori's heart pounded. She remembered him saying "expect the unexpected." He closed the door, and that was the last time she saw Nathan....and it went by that fast.
