Expect the unexpected

The rest of that week was dead to Tori. She couldn't believe that Nathan left and moved. She cried when she got home every day that week. She felt pretty pathetic but she couldn't help her feelings. She walked into school Monday morning and when she got to class, she just looked at Nathan's seat. His chair was empty. How could he just leave out of the blue? She knew she shouldn't of caught feelings, but things just happen. "Expect the unexpected". Boy was he right. "Okay everyone, today we will be doing some partner work." Mr. Howard said. Right there was when Tori wanted to burst into tears. "Everyone go and partner up with the last person you were partnered with." Mr. Howard said. Tori looked at Britain and Britain looked sad for her. Tori looked down. Her partner was no longer there. She raised her hand, in need of a new partner. She was partner up with Miguel.

When she went to gym, she was kind of excited to see Allen. He always put her in a good mood and she felt good vibes from him. He was always in school, he never missed a day. They were still on their volleyball unit and she got changed in the locker rooms to begin the game. "You ready for this Tori!" Allen said as she walked into the gym. She smiled. "Yeah!" She was thankful that the gym teacher assigned them on the same volleyball team because she knew she made a good friend.

Last period came and Tori talked to Adrian and Ryder most of the period. She wanted to walk around and clear her head so she asked to use the bathroom. The teacher allowed her to go so she went. She walked the halls and kept thinking of Nathan. She was distraught. She turned the corner to the water fountain, where she originally planned to go, and there was Allen. He waved to her and stepped aside so she could get a drink. "Bye Tori." He said with a smile. "Bye Allen!" She said smiling. Tori realized that even though Nathan was gone, she still had great friend who had her back and 2 best friends to help her get through it. Britain was the one she always went to for help, and Adrian was the one who she thought would be her best guy friend for ever and help her get through some of the guy issues. It was only a matter of time before things she never thought would happen....would happen.
