Friday: Prom Night
My suspension days were up and I was back in school. I hate being on punishment. All I did was literally eat and sleep. I was actually glad when I was able to go back. The school day was really dead, kinda. Not a lot of people were in class, due to prom night tonight.
Anyways, I was getting myself ready for the big night. I looked in the mirror, looking at myself in the mirror. I looked really really nice. Wow. Time to do my makeup and hair. Well, not really my hair. I was just going to put it up in a neat high bun. I didn't feel like doing all the curling. But I was going to slay my makeup. I got out my makeup kit and started it.

I fixed my tuxedo in the mirror. I was ready for prom night. I was wondering how Yvonnie looked. Probably fine. I haven't spoke to Kalissa in these last 2 days. She didn't call me, and I didn't call her. In school, we didn't say anything to each other.
When I thought I looked good, I grabbed my phone and went downstairs to see my family in the living room. They all turned to me with a smile.
"Aww my baby looks so nice!" My mother cooed and walked over to me, giving me a hug.
"Thanks ma."
"Time for pictures." She said taking out her camera. Oh lord.
She snapped a couple of pictures of me. Every time she would snap one, she would say "One more." We all knew it wasn't over yet. I started getting impatient and groaned.
"Mom."
"Okay, okay sorry honey." She giggled and kissed my cheek then walked back to the couch.
"I hope you're not like that with me when it's my turn." Kordell rolled his eyes and watched the tv.
"Oh hush boy. Odell baby, go enjoy yourself and have fun. But not too much fun. Be careful." She said to me. I nodded and grabbed the keys, leaving out.

Tonight was the night I've been waiting for. Prom, but also exposing the truth. Yvonnie's gonna be running out in tears. Ooh sweet sweet revenge.

"Yvonnie! Odell's here!" My mom yelled from downstairs.
I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror one last time. I smiled and grabbed my clutch and carefully went downstairs.
When I made it to the final stairs I looked at Odell, who had a shock expression on his face. He walked to me and took my hands.
"You look so beautiful, Yvonnie." He complimented. I looked down and smiled shyly.
"Awww." Both my mother and father cooed. Odell and I looked over at them and started laughing together.
