MondayIt was Monday...aka back to school. I was nervous to go back, actually. I was thinking about the kiss between Odell and I and how that would play out now that we have to go back to school.
I was wearing a red hoodie, white jeans, and my all red Adidas superstars. I was too lazy to do my hair so I slicked it back in a ponytail.
Now, I was in my car at a red light. I was a couple of blocks away from the school.
Suddenly, Lose You by ShaSha Jones ft SuperJay played, instantly making me have a flashback of the kiss on Saturday. I quickly turned off the radio and sighed.
I didn't even realize the light turned green until other cars behind me started honking their horns. Oops.

"Y'all kissed?!" Jarvis asked loudly. He needed a ride to go to school since his car was having issues. While we were in my car I told him what happened over the weekend with Yvonnie and I.
"Yes we did. Now stop yelling in my damn ear."
Jarvis turned to me with both of his eyebrows raised. "Nigga gimme details! Did y'all kiss last a while? Was her lips soft? Did they have a flavor to it? How did she react? Did you even tell Kalissa?" He flooded me with a million and one questions.
"Yes. Hell yes. Yeah, it was like a mixture of sugar cookies and vanilla. Her eyes were filled with lust, but she was surprised......No." I rubbed the back my neck at the last answer.
"Damn man. How did the kiss feel?" I felt like this was an interview. All these damn questions.
"It was real good, honestly. It was like fireworks. She kiss better than Kalissa too. Kalissa be so messy with it." I answered truthfully, making Jarvis chuckle.
"You know what this mean right?" I pulled into the school and drove to student parking. I parked in a spot and put the car in P.
"What?" I looked at Jarvis.
"You don't feel the same way with Kalissa anymore. It's like you don't love her anymore."
"What? I do love Kalissa! I love her a lot Jarvis!"
Jarvis looked at me, squinting his eyes, "Do you really Odell? Lemme ask you this, when y'all kiss, are there sparks like when you two first started dating?"
".....No." I looked down and answered him.
"When you tell her you love her, do you really mean it? Or do you say it cause she said it first?"
"I say it cause she says it first..." I mumbled.
"See! You don't love her anymore Odell!" Jarvis concluded.
"I know I love her..."
"Your problem is that you know it's true, you just keep denying it. You don't wanna break her heart." That was true.
"I don't know what to do..."
"Ion know what to tell you either man. Just see how this all plays out..." Jarvis grabbed his bookbag and patted my shoulder.
I grabbed my bag and we got out my car. I locked the car and walked inside the school with him.

I walked inside 1st hour kinda early and to my surprise, Odell was sitting there at his desk. He had his head down. I tried to not make any noise while walking to my seat but I bumped into one of the desks, making the desk move across the floor loudly. Damn. Odell picked his head up and turned to me.
"H-Hey." I waved to him. He got up from his seat and walked over to me, pulling me into a long hug. Woah.
"Odell...Are you alright?" I asked, concerned.
"I'm not. I have a lot of shit on my plate." He replied, pulling away.
"Don't worry, it's gonna be alright. Plus prom night is on Friday. Be happy." I smiled. He cracked a small smile and nodded.
"You're right."

I was counting down the days till I put Yvonnie the pig on the spot. She's gonna regret everything, wishing she never spoke to my baby. Ah, this prom is gonna be one to remember for her.

Kalissa is so damn evil. About 1 or 2 chapters until prom night.
