Ricky's POV
The sunlight peaking through the curtains woke me up. I sat in Haley's bed, staring at her intricate face. She was so beautiful. Haley had pale skin, black hair, and long eyelashes. When they were open, she had bright emerald green eyes. I could see myself falling for this girl.
And I couldn't let that happen. I had already over stepped my boundaries and went too far. One upside is that I got the feeling that she didn't like me, not that that should surprise me.
I silently slipped out of her bed and down the wooden stairs. Ironically, I lived in the same apartment building. How did I never notice her? Well, it doesn't matter anymore, I can't let myself talk to her again.
Slowly, I pulled the door closed and heard a click. Guilt immediately tugged at me, but I pushed it away.
My apartment was on the floor above Haley's. The door opened with ease.
I walked into the bathroom to try to scrub the memory of the past few days away.
I peeled my clothes away from my exhausted body and jumped in the hot water. A sigh escaped my lips, my muscles loosed dramatically.
The door to the bathroom opened slightly. There was shuffling and then the curtain was ripped open.
"Kira..." I said in surprise.
"Ricky. Where were you?" She said seductively as she stepped into the shower.
"Out, what does it matter." She stopped what she was doing and looked up at me.
"You were gone for three days and didn't say a God damn word to me. You could have died and I wouldn't have known." I rolled my eyes.
"I wish I would have." I retorted under my breathe. I heard a gasp. I chuckled and stepped out. Kira followed right behind me.
"Aren't I enough, Ricky? Don't you love me?" She grabbed my hands running hers up my arms. Immediately she stopped and glanced down at my scarred forearms. She threw them back down to my sides in disgust.
"You emo faggot! I don't want to be with someone like that!" She screamed in a dramatic, shrill voice.
"Like what?" I asked calmly.
"Who is fucking depressed and hurts themselves. I can't be with you anymore Ricky, I deserve better!" I sighed.
"Okay, get out then." Kira's eyes widened and she stomped out of the room still naked. There was loud crashes coming from my bedroom. I sighed, waiting in the bathroom until she left.
After ten minutes, the whole apartment was completely silent. I opened the door and saw my furniture wrecked. Oh well, I don't use it anyway. Then there was someone at the door.
"Hey, bitch! Where ar-" Chris had walked in, "What the hell happened here?"
"Kira, it's a long story." I sighed, running my fingers through my wet hair.
"I'll call the guys, we can fix this."
"No man, don't worry about it. Anyway, what'd you want."
"I wanted to make sure you weren't dead. You didn't show up to practice yesterday. I was worried."
"Thanks, dad. I'm fine."
"So are you gonna tell me what happened?" He inquired.
There was a soft knock at the door and both Chris and I froze.
It better not be Kira or Chris might kill her. Then again, is that a bad thing?
