Haley's POV
It's been three weeks. Things with Ricky are great. We've spent every waking hour together. I moved back in with him. With his help, I'm going back to school to become a tattoo artist and piercer. I'm tired of feeling like I need a man to support me.
"Babe!" I heard Ricky call from the mud room as he closed the door behind him, wiping the snow from his shoes.
"Yeah?" I asked as I walked from our bedroom.
"I have news." He said, a smile on his face. The butterflies in my stomach exploded as his pearly grin appeared. He sure knows how to melt my heart.
"And what's that?" I asked, pulling him into the living room. He sat down on the plush, maroon couch, pulling me into his lap.
"We're going on tour next week." I sat shocked, just staring at his excited face. I then realized he was expecting me to be just as happy so I plastered a fake smile on.
"Awesome! How long will you be gone?" I asked, covering the disappointment in my voice. I hate being away from Ricky. It feels like my chest is going to cave in and I just want to curl up in a ball and cry for however long he's gone.
"Don't you mean, how long are WE gonna be gone?" He laughed, his smile growing even bigger.
"Really? I can go with you guys?!" I squealed, jumping off his lap and pulling him up into a hug.
"Yep. I talked to the guys and they'd love to have you with us." The excitement in me was crushed as I remembered something.
"What about my schooling? I can't just drop it, I'll have to take the semester over."
"I already talked to the university and they have online courses that you could take."
"Thank you so much Ricky!" I said, leaning in and pressing my lips to his. The butterflies returned as his moved in perfect time with mine. God this is perfect. He is perfect.
A growl erupted from his chest as I pulled his hair slightly.
"Can I have a reward?" He whined. I giggled and pulled away.
"Maybe later, we're going out to dinner with Chris and Ash." I said, planting one last kiss on his nose.
"I'm gonna hold you to that." I laughed and walked back up to our bedroom to get dressed.
God, it's good being able to call it 'our' bedroom again.
Pulling open the closet door, I stared at my side, trying to decide what to wear. My eyes fell upon something I had bought ages ago and never worn.
A dress. I never wear dresses. Pulling it out, I looked it over. The dress had a deep purple, almost black, corset with black lace lining the top, and small, silver metal rings up the front that were laced together with a silky string . The bottom was a thin, black tule with more black lacing around the bottom.
It's a special occasion, I might as well wear it. I pulled out black stalkings with thin stripes and a black, silk shaw. Slipping out of the room, I walked to the bathroom and closed the door.
Turning the water on, I waited for the steam to come over the top of the curtain, and hopped in. I shaved and washed my hair, then got out and dried off.
After slipping on my clothes, I blew my hair dry and brushed it to one side, teased it and sprayed what seemed like a whole bottle of hair spray on it. I then layered my face with foundation and did a black, silver, and purple smokey eye. I slipped on a pair of shiny black heels. Stepping back, I looked into the mirror. I actually feel good.
