Chapter 1/2

In the year 1663 a child was born. The parents named this child Patience. Now, Patience was born into a large family. The family favored Patience besides the father. He would beat Patience till she was black and blue.

When she learned to walk and talk, the family became weary. Patience became different. She started to talk to people that weren't really there. She had no friends. Her family didn't like that.

At the age five, Patience learned how to fight. The oldest child, Autolycus, taught her. Autolycus was also was different and was just about the only living soul who cared for her. He taught Patience many useful things in life. Like cooking, farming, hunting, and even about love.

When Autolycus died in war, Patience was torn. At the age ten she ran away to all points nowhere.

Patience took care of herself for nine years. For those nine years she traveled and stayed out of sight from people that may know her. She didn't want to take any risks.

One night, when she was on the move, Patience decided to rest in a barn she came across.

Little did she know that her life was going to change. Maybe forever.
