I laid in my bed, not exactly awake, not exactly asleep either. I had been able to fall asleep for a little while last night though, but not enough to say a full night of rest. Now, I just could not fall asleep. My mind is keeping me up, buzzing with activity. I couldn't stop thinking about Zayn. I know, that's wrong, he just broke up with one of my best friends and all I can do is think about him. And not in a bad way. Although fancying him may very well be a bad thing. It's just the fact that ever since we met at that party Jesy threw for Kate and me, we've easily become friends. It's also the fact that he will be beginning his world wide tour soon. I won't be able to see him for quite some while unless I go after him or join him. But if I do, I'll definitely look desperate either way, and I hate looking desperate. And I can't go with them to sing, the fans won't be expecting me, they just want a three hour One Direction concert. And I might not even be invited to go. If I stay, I face the risk that Zayn could easily fall in love with a fan or some other girl. He's even admitted that it would be nice to go out with one of his fans. And there's so many more possibilities: he could get back together with Perrie, he will forget about me, we won't keep in touch, I'll find someone else. The possibilities seem endless yet the only one I'm not worried about is finding someone else. My mind and heart literally won't let me, trust me, I've tried. My brain was still searching for something, some plan or idea, when I heard the phone ring. I sigh and stay in bed. I didn't want to get up. Luckily, I heard the patter of feet downstairs, someone was already up. The phone stopped ringing shortly. It was probably Perrie, Jesy is definitely not a morning person. Perrie is kind of both a morning person and a night owl. I guess I am too. I sighed and sat up in my bed, running my fingers through my hair. I stood up and stretched a bit. Glancing at my reflection in the mirror, I smiled. Not too bad. Could be worse, could be better.
"Yo Amie, pick up the phone!" Perrie's unique British accent echoed throughout the house.
I walked out of my room and grabbed the other phone, which was just two rooms down the hall, in a sitting room as Jesy had called it. I pressed answer and put the phone up to my ear. "Hello?" I greeted whoever was on the phone, holding back a yawn.
"Bye!" I heard Perrie chirp into the phone.
"Bye Perrie." The voice responded. The other line hung up, the one Perrie was on. I could already tell who was on the remaining line.
