“Fine.” He pouted. “Zayn. Truth or dare?”

“Dare.” Zayn nodded.

“Sing the highest note you can sing.” Niall smiled. “He can sing insanely high.”

“Alright, let’s hear it Zayn!” I cheered.

“Fine.” He rolled his eyes and belted a very high pitch la, even higher than when Jade.

“Dang.” Was all Perrie could say. “Who sings higher?” She asked, gesturing to herself and Zayn.

“Let’s see!” Harry grinned. “On three both of you sing your highest note.”

“One.” Kelsey said.

“Two!” Louis chirped.

“TRES!” Joey squealed. “That means three for those who aren’t aware.”

Both Perrie and Zayn belted out a very high pitch la. One of them was an octave higher, but barely higher still. Perrie clearly was that person as she held on to the high note as Zayn was able to flawlessly gradually lower the note down to a very deep note. Both of them were still amazing at singing and I could easily see, or hear, why they were famous for such high notes.

“Alright, Perrie was higher.” Jesy chuckled. “Zayn you were really close but Perrie had it in the bag.”

“Okay then, truth or dare?” Zayn asked, referring to Jesy.

“Truth.” Jesy grinned.

“What are you most confident about?” Zayn asked.

“My singing.” Jesy replied immediately.

“She’s always loved singing and has never doubted it.” I nodded in agreement.

Our game of truth or dare went on for about another hour and a half or so. Kelsey was practically dying from all the dares she had taken, but she kept going despite her heavy breathing. The rest of us had bounced between truth and dare, gradually increasing to only truths, and now not even bothering to participate. Jade was on the floor by our fireplace, wrapped up in a blanket as she slept. Or at least fell asleep. We couldn’t really tell and we didn’t feel like asking her. I was sitting on the floor, resting against the corner of the couch as Perrie sat above me on the couch, playing with my hair. She was braiding it but she had given up a while ago  and was pretty much just combing it over and over with her fingers. Both Leigh-Anne and Liam were sitting on seperate stools taken from the kitchen, talking to each other: Liam talked all about his girlfriend Danielle and Leigh-Anne talked about her boyfriend Jordan. Connor was fetching yet another glass of water for Kelsey who was pacing the room, waiting for someone to ask her truth or dare. Joey and Louis were talking on the couch, closest to Jade. Well they were laughing more than talking, another burst of their hysterical laughter bounded out of their mouths in what seemed to be every five seconds at something I couldn’t hear. Niall was eating more of the leftovers, which there had been a lot of previously. Harry and Jesy were talking about their favorite songs and artists, which they appeared to have a lot in common, on the other side of the couch. Zayn, Perrie and I were talking…..and singing I guess. Zayn was next to Perrie on the couch. We would bring up a song and then we’d end up singing it. Of course Perrie and Zayn were much better than me despite their constant encouraging. Come on, who could be as good or better than professional singers?!

“Alright, I’m done.” Kelsey sighed, collapsing onto the couch by Joey.

“Only took you 30 minutes.” Connor laughed.

“What do you mean?” Kelsey asked, sipping the water he had given her.

“We all stopped playing 30 minutes ago.” I pointed out.
