Chapter 10 ~ Arrogant Bitch vs. Unknown Goddess

A/N so it's been a little while since i've wrote. since my last update actually, since i've been sleeping over at my mates, before mine for two nights. anyway how have you been? me, i'm great since i'm getting Final Fantasy XII. i did play it before, but i borrowed it so i had to give it back. and by the way, does it seem like i'm rushing the story? 

You was running. Why? Mephisto hadn't replaced the alarm clock; therefore you had slept in. You had missed breakfast, didn't know where maths class was and was running out of stamina quickly. Today had been a great start. Thankfully, Dire was with you today; with any luck, he might just hear Yuffie. No such luck so far, you had been running around for Etro knows how long.

After more running which was actually walking and whining, Dire finally picked up something. Tugging at your arm to follow, your companion began running off in some direction. Even though your legs protested, you ran after him. In all honesty, you never remembered him being this fast. After what seemed to long, you were where Dire had stopped; and sure enough, you heard Yuffie.

Instead of waiting around and knocking on the door politely, you opened it hastily. ''S-sorry I'm l-late,'' you panted with your hands on knees. 

''[name]? Where have you been? We didn't think you was coming; considering your half an hour late,'' the teacher questioned. Odd, his voice sounded a lot like... Cloud's?!

You straightened up and laughed nervously. ''...Mephisto didn't replace that damn alarm clock...'' you mumbled to yourself while scowling.

Cloud just looked at you bemused before shaking it off. ''Never mind, just don't be late in future, okay? You can take the spare seat next to Genesis,'' the blond gestured to the back of the room.

Nodding, you made your way over to the back and sit next to him. Kairi however, had other plans. You had to walk by her to get to your seat, and that's when the auburn girl decided to strike. Just as you was about to pass, she stook her foot out to trip you. With that, you went flying. Had you actually been awake, you could have missed this. But oh no, you in a daze tripped... Big time.

Kairi and her gang all laughed, whereas the rest of the class just giggled or looked a little concerned. You on the other hand wanted to go back to sleep, the floor was quite comfy. ''[name]. Are y-you, umm, all right?'' Cloud faltered, looking away when he got closer to you.

''You kidding me, I'd look now since you probably won't get another chance,'' you heard Axel's voice, on your right you believed. It sounded teasing, and what did he mean 'I'd look now' ? Before you could question, some slapped you backside playfully.

Jumping up only to fall over again; sitting down instead or sprawled this time thankfully, you stared at Axel. He looked at you like he wanted to see more. You thought it was him, and though you was angry; you was blushing. But that was a strange playful slap. When he did, you expected to feel the coolness of your skirt, but you didn't.

''Your skirt went up, showing your under ware,'' snickered Rikku's voice in your ear.

You blushed more. So that's what the saw, it would also explain Cloud's reaction. You saw Kairi snicker at you in a condescending way. Knowing that she wanted you to fell embarrassed so that you might run, you smiled and laughed lightly. The blush was there, but it was pretty funny. The one who desires your downfall would have to try much harder than that.

Giggling, you got up and went to sit next to Genesis, though now he seemed to be scowling. ''You alright Genesis?'' you asked while sitting down.

He looked at you through the corner of his eye and went back to scowling. A frown played on your face and you looked at Angeal; on Genesis's other side for answers. Angeal sighed, ''It's because of what Axel did to you, and the fact you didn't get him back for out.''
