Their eyes focused on me. Ang hirap pala talaga galitin nito ni Zach! Ang lakas mang-trip. Oo na, gets ko nanaman ang gusto niya ipahiwatig. He would leave me with no choice but to accept his offer.

"Villafuente, tinatanong ka ng CEO. You've to answer him right away!" saway saakin ni Sir. Adrian.

"S-sorry po, sir..."

"Sir. Esqueza, hindi naman po kasi tama---"

Zach jaw tightened. Hindi kami makahinga sa kinauupuan namin. Iba siya mabadtrip. Damay lahat ng tao sa paligid niya.

Sir. Adrian looked around, waiting for someone to save him but no one dared to stood up for him. Even Miggy, he looked like a tamed pet, na mukhang nagugustuhan din ang nangyayari.

"H-hindi po, Sir. Esqueza."

He was usung 'po' kahit mas matanda naman si Zach sakanya. Dala narin siguro ng takot. His hands were already shaking.

Nanlalamig na ang buo kong katawan. I closed my legs dahil bigla akong nanginig sa eksene ng mga boss ko. Shit. Dadalin ito ng konsensya ko hanggang sa mamatay ako.

"I'm not a fond of giving second chances," Zach said like a robot, he was just standing and not moving at all. It was like someone switched off his emotions already.

"S-sir. Esqueza, hindi ko naman po sinasadya," nauutal na paliwanag ni Sir. Adrian.

Zach sat on his chair, looking so calmed. "To be fair, I'll give uou an option. Either you'll leave on your own or I'll ask someone to kick you out of this building." He looked at his wrist watch. "Make your choice in three seconds."

Our mouth was hang opened. I never thought he was this harsh as if he didn't have a heart at all. Lahat kami natatakot na. Lahat kami hindi makahinga sa nangyayari.

"M-mr. Esqueza, nabigla lang siguro siya kanina---" I tried to butt in.

"You don't get to say a word in this matter, Miss."

Miss? Ano ngayon? Hindi na niya ako kilala? I shut my mouth. It was never a good idea to talk when he was mad like this.

"Sir. Esqueza..." Nagmamakaawa na sabi ni Sir. Adrian. "I've been working here for many years, sa isang pagkakamali ko lang tatanggalin niyo na ako?"

"Three," Zach started counting.

I gasped in horror. Hindi ako makapaniwala na nangyayari talaga ito sa harap ko.

"I dedicated my whole life in this company, dito na ako natutulog minsan matapos lang ang dapat tapusin. I won't even rest during my day offs to meet the deadline and I don't deserve another chances?"

"Two," Zach counted and didn't say anything.

"I worked so hard to please you. Kahit na kailangan ako ng anak ko sa graduation niya, I did not attend dahil mas kailangan ako dito. And now this is what I'll get?"

"One."

He looked at Mira beside him. I was out of breath already. I didn't know what to do anymore. Kasalanan ko ang lahat ng ito. It was so heartbreaking to heard this. Bakit ganito ka-heartless si Zach?
