*This chapter is one of my most steamiest. I don't think I'm going to make chapters steamier than this one...No, I won't. Ummm, so yeah. Continue reading at your own risk ;) But it's not THAT bad. The "badness" is in very end, anyway. Enjoy reading!*

The next morning, things are strained between my friends and I. I just don't feel like talking to them. I'm in my feels and I can't get out. I don't even know why I'm feeling this way. They've been nothing but supportive and encouraging.

"So, there's a Fourth of July party this weekend," I tell Erick. He and I are at Starbucks. The others went to Subway.

"Hm?" He hums, looking up from his phone. "Oh, I think Anna told me about it."

"Yeah, we should go."

"Yeah. I need to restock my stash."

Erick took a shower this morning before we left but he still smells like weed. He smokes often. I'm not sure if he's addicted but he does smoke a lot. He always carries some on him, and he sniffs it. Yes. He's addicted.

"You really shouldn't use weed this much, Erick." I begin. "Like, you smoke a lot. Remember when I invited you guys to my cousin's graduation?"

He shrugs, looking around, all jitter-like.

"You couldn't go the whole day without taking a break and freaking smoking behind my house, after I told you not to."

"Oh, yeah. Your mom caught you 'cause the fumes-"

"Uh, yeah. And pretty much everyone else smelt it, too."

My body grows hot with the memories of that day. I was so embarrassed, mainly with my parents. They already thought Erick was a really bad influence on me and Petra, so when he did that, they definitely did not want me hanging out with him. Of course I love Erick, and he's been part of our gang of best friends for the longest, and though he has his good moments, he's a good person, and Kendra, Six, Caressa, and I know that, more than most. We've seen him in his most vulnerable moments, and experienced who The Real Erick is. So, of course I fought for him against my parents and eventually, they gave in. They know I'm a good person, and I'd never do drugs.
