You are at your office. A colleague of yours asked you if you could do her a favour which was to deliver an important file to your boss. Your boss' office was at the 11th floor so you decided to take the elevator.
You got in the elevator only to find your colleague, Brent. He was an absolute dork and he was just a month old in the company.
"Oh hey" He said quickly pressing all the buttons.
"Ummm hey, why'd you press all the buttons" you ask him confused.
"Oh I'm sorry. I'm just a tad new. I don't know my way around here" He made an excuse. A month is long enough to know your way around your workplace and besides you knew that he clearly wanted to spend some more time with you. Now the lift will stop on every floor.... Great!
"So umm where were you going anyways?" He asked trying to build up a conversation.
"To the boss' office" You replied simply. Though you wanted to talk to him more but he was just being such a creep.
"Oh wonderful, me too" He said. Liar.
Then the door of the elevator opened to reveal your boss' office.
"So we're here I guess" He said smiling awkwardly.
"Yeah, you were going to the boss' office too, weren't you?" You asked him with a smirk.
"Oh... Umm...Darn... I forgot something downstairs. I'll be right back" He said scratching the back of his head.
"Oh and yeah... would you please join me at lunch?" He asked shyly.
"I'd love to" You said with a smile.
He got in the elevator and disappeared behind the elevator doors... Such an adorable dork...
