Our fingers; intertwined, like two ships drifting weightlessly in the vast ocean of love.
Our eyes; glued to the crimson sunset, disappearing into the horizon with every passing second.
Our hearts; falling inevitably, drowning in the beauty of eternal love.
His lips; whispering endearments into my ear, giving me the kind of feeling people write novels about.
Life couldn't get any better.
Then I remembered something beautiful. Something which brought us closer in the first place.
A poem.
"I wrote your name in the sky,
But the wind blew it away" I hummed.
"I wrote your name in the sand,
But the waves washed it away" He added.
I was literally tongue-tied. He remembered. We spent a few seconds gazing at each other.
"I wrote your name in my heart,
And forever it will stay" We both said in unison.
"You remembered" I said, closing my eyes, taking in every bit of his beautiful presence.
"How could I forget?" He replied.
"You know how they say that if you keep saying something repeatedly it loses its meaning. I think every time we say the poem it comes out with a little more passion and meaning to it" I said.
"You're right and moments like these make us realise how lucky we are to have each other" He said.
He placed his hand below my ear and sliding his thumb up and down, gently, sending shivers down my spine.We rested our foreheads against each other's as he intertwined our fingers back again, intensifying the grip.
And we remained that way until the sun melted into the horizon and the stars began to appear in the Milky Way.

I declare today, 18th July 2016 the official appreciation day for Daisy. She's absolutely amazing as you all know and she's been my best muffin (( YASS I SAID MUFFIN XD ))for about 5 years now as you may not know. She's smart, intelligent, trustworthy, creative and basically the definition of perfection. And believe me or not but she's as hot as those barbeques at the campfire ;)
I'm seriously at a loss of words right now. No word can perfectly describe her.
So like I did, I want you all to write something beautiful about her in the comments below. I just felt the need to do this so that we can let her know that she's a beautiful person and the world needs more people like her.
