Your summer vacation was going on and you were having a sleepover at your best friend Brent's place with your other friend, Amelia and Jacob.
"I'm so bored Y/N!" Brent sighed.
"Hmm same here." you replied.
"Let's do something crazy, like out of this world!" he exclaimed.
"Ya, what can we do in this beautiful sweaty summer night." you said.
"Uhm, Wait, I have a marvellous idea!" Brent exclaimed, "Let's do something like in Paper Towns?" (A/N: I am sorry if you haven't read Paper Towns. In case you haven't, the protagonists, Margo and Quieten, do some amazingly weird 11 things in one night... though I highly recommend that book... It's undoubtedly my favorite )
"You want us to shave someone's left eyebrow or you want me to call someone's dad and tell him that is daughter is makin' out with someone in their basement?" Jacob joked.
"No, like let's do something not-exactly-what-they-did but something similar..." Brent said. "I have a great idea, come let's go..." he continued holding onto your arm.
"W-ait, ww-hat is being cooked up in the mind right now?" you said, but he simply dragged all of you out of his room and you tip-toed down stairs.
"What are you tryin' to do bro?" Jacob whispered.
"Shhh..." Brent said simply placing his index finger on his lip.
You were finally out and then all of you just silent walked until his house was a few feet away.
"Okay, what are we doing in the middle of the night OUT of YOUR house." you asked, more liked half-yelled.
"Stop yelling mi amigo! I have a fantastic plan:-"
"Ya, he has to use the Spanish he learnt for four years somewhere..." Jacob joked.
"Oh shut up- leme tell you my plan real quick." he said as all of you leaned forward. " We're going down the lane, where they are all expensive and fancy houses... I know that most of'em leave their sprinkles on for the night, AND we're gonna just run through them!" Brent said.
"No-no-no-no-no-no-no I don't THINK we're gonna do that!" Amelia said. "I just don't we should trespass like that."
"Oh, c'mon Am, I'd be fun and we won't be destroying anything and if we get caught, I'm the ONLY one who did it." Brent said. "What ya say Y/N?"
"Uhm I could think about that..." you replied as a matter of fact you like his idea but it was too risky.
After a long 'whispering' argument, Brent won. Well, who in this universe could probably win over him? You all quietly walked down the lane and you could here some Pop-Rock in the background but it was too mild that those sprinklers were over powering it.
"Almost there!" Brent said, he sounded to excited. You could see the water being sprinkled on the soft turf in the dim street light. Good thing, at least for you that they didn't have any hedges.
"Okay, let's go..." Brent said as he held your arm and dragged you.
You ran past those sprinklers, it felt like rain but poring from your sides. Both you ran jumping over any sprinklers that were in your way. Amelia and Jacob were behind you. You giggled, but controlled your laughter, in case it woke up someone.
Just then you heard some old German guy yell at you, " You bloody little...!" you could not hear his ful sentence, as you were busy running.
"Run faster, you turtles... I don't want to be grounded for the summer!" Jacob said as finally you reached till the end of that lane.
"Woah! that was just-" you cut Brent "- supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" you said.
"You morons that was just so close!" Amelia said as all of you breathed heavily and you were so wet.
"Ten more to go..." Brent smirked.
