*GO BACK TO WHEN YOU WERE IN GRADE FOUR*
You were a very mischievous kid. You always threw paper planes and pencil shavings on Brent, who sat next to you. He was always a quiet kid and the one who always got straight A's.
It was your english period and your teacher was quite strict. The bell rang and you went to your seat.
Brent, before the teacher came took out his books.
"Good Afternoon kids." she said.
"Good Afternoon Miss Lily." you all said in unison.
"Take out your grammar books..." she said and everyone started to look for them in their backpacks.
You too started to look for it, but couldn't find it anywhere. You searched once, twice, trice but you couldn't find anything. Just then the teacher spoke again:
"Those of you who don't have the book, get up!" she said.
You once again searched before starting to get up. All this time Brent was watching you. He slowly slid his book towards you and got up himself. You looked at him in surprise, he smiled at you.
"Brent, you too forgot your book?"Miss Lily said furiously.
"Uhm.. y-yes Miss Lily, I forgot my book. I'm sorry" he said and hung his head down being ashamed of what he had not done.
You felt really bad, but telling Miss Lily would create a greater problem for you. So you sat there silently.
"Anyways, rules are same for everyone. Go and stand out." she said.
Brent discreetly went outside and Miss Lily begun the lesson. She continued from yesterday's class. You all were learning adjectives. All this time you felt really bad for Brent and what all bad you did to him.
"Now, who'll tell me an example of any adjective?" Miss Lily asked. Many students raised hands. You too, raised your hand.
"Yes, Y/N, tell me..." she said.
"Miss, Uhm- Brent is a really sweet boy." you said and looked at Brent. He blushed.
"How? How is that an adjective?" Miss Lily asked.
"Miss Lily because- because sweet describes Brent." you said and looked at Brent again, smiling.
"Good sit down, now." your teacher said. And you kept looking at Brent for the rest of the class, smiling.
