Part 5
Olivia's POV
I woke up at 12 pm today, which was weird for me since I usually have to wake up at 5 am for work. The only job I have left is the one with the management company, Syco I think it's called, where I run errands for anyone that works there. They don't call very often though, like once every two months maybe. Today is Monday again and I'm going to see Anne and see if she needs any help at the bakery.
*At Bakery*
Right when I walked in I saw a curly mop headed boy working the counter. I smiled and said "Hi do you know where the owner is?" "Whose asking?" the attractive young male replied "Olivia" "Olivia?" "Um...yeah. Do you know where Anne is?" "Maxwell?" he asked ignoring my question "Yeah..." "It's me! Harry!" I gave him a confused look "Harry Styles. We used to play together all the time when we were little!" Then it clicked "Harry?! Holy crap! What vegetables have u been eating!" I said astounded as he came from around the counter to give me a huge hug I hugged back and said "Now back to the reason I'm here...where's your Mom?" he let go of the hug "You never can have a moment to yourself can you?...she's in the back" "Thanks!" I said waving bye to him and trying to figure out what he meant by never having a moment to myself
Kate's POV
"W-what?" I gasped out "Kate I know you need this job but the bakery isn't getting as much business as it used to and it's costing us more to keep it up and running than its bringing in..." Anne stated "We're closing it down tomorrow." My heart shattered No job, and no money, nothing for my family. I never really told Anne how dire my situation was but I felt like she already knew, apparently not. "I-I'm going home" I stuttered giving her a hug and immediately running into Olivia She saw my face and how a few tears managed to escape my eyes and all I could do was nod knowing she would understand. She frowned and took my bag from me, I feel like such a failure.
Olivia's POV
My mom lost her job, I lost my job, no income: bills, school, mouths to feed, I seriously need to call Aunt Deb. Aunt Deb is my Dad's younger sister. She lives in New York and is a clothing designer, my Mom hates her. You see when I was about 15 she asked me to come live with her to become one of her models and I was almost persuaded into going that is until my Dad got his job so I found no need to help them with the income. She always told me the offer still stands though. I'll give her a call when I get home. Five hours later and It's settled. I'm leaving for New York, America in the morning. Hopefully I can get enough money in time of next months' rent. I really don't want to leave Mom, Hope, and Henry but if it's what I have to do, then it's what will be done. At least Aunt Deb's paying for the ticket.
*Next Day*
"I love you guys so much" I sobbed into my family's shoulders "We're going to miss you Liv" cried Hope "I'll be back as soon as I can, I promise." "Stay safe" Mom said after she kissed me on the forehead "Don't become too snobby" said Henry who was obviously trying not to cry, but failing miserably I smiled weakly and replied with a slight laugh "I won't" with one last smile and family hug I walked out the door and into the cab that was sent for me
Louis's POV
I walked into The Dollar Tree with Zayn this time today and I glanced at the checkout counter seeing my Walmart girl not there. That's weird I thought she was only a cashier "Excuse me miss" I said to the worker in the squirt gun isle "Yes?" "Do you know what happened to the cashier that was here two days ago?" "Oh new girl, yeah she was fired." You have got to be kidding me! How does this girl keep getting fired...déjà vu. "Uh...d-do you know how?" "Yeah she was talking to the customers to much" That's no reason for someone to be fired! I wonder if she was fired because of us...now I feel bad. "Okay, thanks" "No problem" she smiled "Mate what did she say?" asked Zayn "She was fired...again"
