Thick, black lines

:Kat's POV:

Around a week has passed since I last seen Volt. He said he was on a killing spree, but it's been way to long by now.

To make sure he wasn't just avoiding me, I walked down the halls, to Toby's room. I know sometimes the two hide out there, I'm not that stupid.

I knocked on the closed door.

"Toby?" I asked, knocking again.

"Don't come in!" cried a voice from the other side. I sighed, and walked in, deciding this was some joke.

But I was shocked to find him standing in front of his closet, with nothing on but his boxers.

"Holy c- ... I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed, quickly leaving the room and slamming the door shut.

Once I have partially removed that vision from my head, I asked,

"Hey Toby, seen Volt around?"

"No, still on his spree, isn't he? Taking his time-e I guess."

I could not believe he said all that with just one error. Anyways, I began to worry more for Volt.

Before he left, he wasn't quite acting... right.

He would stare off into space, not a Seth thing. I don't know if it is just me, but, it appears that the white streaks in his hair are, fading. His eyes, they seem duller too. They don't quite glow with as bright light as before.

He spoke a little less, and more vaguely. He's had outbursts of wrath for little reason, like the other day he got in a knife fight with Jeff over salsa. Jeff claimed he didn't even touch the salsa.... well, he claimed to, anyways.

Really, no one really trusts Jeff.

Something truly bothered me the most, though. I recall seeing his right hand, and it had.... like... these black, scar like markings, curling up his wrist. We as CPs are seen as villains to normal society, but this felt, plain, evil...

Suddenly, I recalled something that happened before.

It couldn't be...

I carefully re recalled those thick, black lines slowly taking Volt away.

"What are you doing?"

I jumped, then realized it was just EJ. "What am I doing?" I asked, questioningly.

"You were having a long monologue." EJ said boredly.

"Now it is over."

"Do you even care about Volt's well being? You are a heartless man."

"No, I am eyeless."
