:Volt's POV:

Boring lectures from Masky, they are boring, but I do learn.

From what I could tell, there is a 'triangle' of sides.

There is "good," normal people, living normal lives and doing 'normal' things. They are our prey, and I hate them.

There is the "bad" side, us. Creepypastas, an almost superior human in my eyes, for they keep the ever growing population problem in check. In a way, we are doing a favor for humanity.

But never until now did I know there was a third, more wicked side.

"Come on!" Toby whisper-yelled at me. "He's so close!"

We crack up in laughter when we here the large crack from the branches collapsing under Masky's weight. We both peered into the hole and sure enough, there is a pissed-off masked man in our hole.

"Hey Masky!" Toby shouted down the hole.

"Hey Masky, hey M-asky! You like our trap?!"

"No. Now how about you two demons get me out of this damn hole!"

"No-o, first you must listen."

Masky glared, or at least, I'm guessing he is, before we both started shouting at the top of our lungs

"HEY MASKY HEY MASKY HEY MASKY HEY MASKY HEY MASKY HEY MASKY HEY MASKY MASKY HEY!!!!"

and Masky is now writhing on the ground, holding his ears, and we're just laughing our asses off. I snap a picture on my phone, and send it to ANN before we released him.

After Masky had left, we began to talk amongst ourselves.

"See?" Toby says. "I told you it would be *pop* funny."

"Yeah, but not that funny, and Toby,"

"Yeah?"

"Okay, what does he look like, you know, without the mask?"

"Oh, well he is reall-"

Toby stopped abruptly, looking into the woods. He was suddenly more watchful, his face more grim. I too looked to the forest, though I really didn't see anything.

"What is it?" I asked cautiously. Toby kept staring, and talked in a low voice. He seemed to be talking to himself, and he was so stiff he wasn't even twitching.

"Why now?" He had questioned himself. "Why is he here now?"

Then he turned to me. "You must go," he told me briskly.

"We both must, it appears he, or one on his side is here."

"What do you mean?" I was confused, and scared. "Who is he?"

"I'll explain, come on! We must go."

We ran out, and I took one last look back.

All looked as serene as ever, without a change... wait, what is that?

He was in the background, a tall, thing. It was mainly black in colour, with horns, spikes, and seven mouths. His eyes burned with hate and malice, and he seemed to just have this evil aura. He was staring right back at me. In the second I saw him, my heart filled with dread. Did... Did he just smile?

Toby tugged my arm, and turned back to the house. We got in safely, but I was shaking all over.

"T-toby..." Now I was stuttering, it's as if we switched bodies. "What-t was that t-t-thing?"

"Hey guys!" Jeff came down the stairs. His expression changes when he saw me

"Uhh... Toby? Why does Volt look so... scared? He looks as if he'd seen Zalgo himself."

Toby face remained grim.

"I believe what you said was true, Jeff.*pop* Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to consult Slenderman."

Then Toby left, leaving me and Jeff. I was still uneasy, so I went upstairs to find Kat. Besides Toby, Kat is the easiest person for me to talk to. After all, we have been attending the same school since maybe forever.

Kat was having lunch with Clocky. I went in and started explaining my sighting with the two girls.

"Yup, that was most probably Zalgo." Clockwork told me.

"But... Clocky.. Why is he here?" Kat asks her.

"I don't know for sure," Clockwork replies, "but I could guess based on my knowledge. You see, Zalgo and Slendy are sworn enemies, and a fight between them could be devastating. In defense, both built a mansion as a way to fortify themselves from each other. Usually, they were evenly matched, until one day.."

"What happened?" I asked eagerly, wanting more of this story.

"Until one day," she said. "Slender found a way to get back at Zalgo, in which Zalgo cannot retaliate."

"How?" Kat asked.

"He took in his first proxy, Masky."

Kat took it in, but I didn't.

"But isn't observer older than Masky? Why isn't he first?"

"Slender was reluctant to take in a proxy smarter than himself." Clock said boredly, then continued.

"You see, Zalgo can only take a person in if this person is dead, seeing the underrealm is essentially hell. Slender would not allow that demon to take in any proxies, so, technically, he started collecting young killers from all over the place. Any he likes particularly, like Hoodie, or Toby, would go through the long process of becoming a proxy, and are made immortal. A proxy could not die, for if they did.."

"..there would be all sorts of problems. A proxy has an eternal link to his or her master, and if Zalgo took one of us, he could probably take minor control of the Operator."

I turned around, and Masky was finishing the story.

"If Slender was gone... Then Zalgo would not be restrained, and all hell would break out. Us pastas like human agony, but Zalgo would rid the world of our prey, if not make slaves of all of us. Volt, remember that there is no Satan, there is only Zalgo."

He turned and abruptly left. Kat murmured "he's harsh."

I am left in thought.

If  I really just saw Zalgo... Then is this the beginning.. Of the end?
