Shadows POV
"Why aren't you talking much ?" Rouge said as she looked at me
I shrugged I didn't want to bring up the fact that my back is killing me. It feels burned . It must have happened from the blast when I was shielding Amy..I can't believe sonic ignored her like that ! I can't imagine what would have happened if I wasn't there ..i snapped myself out of my own thoughts ...since when do I care about Amy.she is with the faker.
"Alright don't tell me" rouge snapped
" I was just thinking about how that faker treated Amy back there" I said
" he doesn't like her"rouge said
"What I thought they were a couple" I asked confused
"Nope they dated a little but sonic broke up with her after a few days to get with Sally"
"Oh I guess that explains it then "
I see rouge smile out of the corner of my eye
"What " I ask
" you were thinking about Amy weren't you"
I shrugged.crap I gotta think of a way to play it off I thought to myself
"Nope"
Shit why did I say that that makes it so obvious! I mentally slapped myself in the face. She laughed a little
"Oh come on we all know you and knuckles have a thing"I said
"Yeah but at lest I don't hide it,and we aren't dating ...yet"
"Suuuuuure" I said
"We are just talking .. But he is taking me out on a date tomorrow "
"I figured, you have been talking about him a lot, any way What time should I pick you up" I asked trying to change the topic before she switched it back to Amy.
"4:50 "
"Alright be ready " I said as she nodded
"Chaos control"I yelled as a disappeared and reappeared in my house

Amy POV
"I hope Sally will come" sonic said with a huge smile on his face
I wish he would feel the same way about me ..i thought to my self I then slipped into deep thought and realized how many times he has done this .. He has treated me like dirt ..and I've followed him all these years not knowing it till now. I poured my heart out to him and he has thrown it in the trash way to many times to count. But shadow .. He didn't have to save me .. So why did he ?
"Ames you okay ?" Sonic asked
"Oh ..yeah I'm Okay"
"Did shadow hurt you ?" He asked
"What no ?? Why would you think that " I snapped
He shrugged
"He is just a bad dude, you should be careful around him"
We had finally reached my house and I opened the door and walked in not saying goodbye to anyone.

Sonic's POV
"I hope Amy's okay, she has been acting weird"
"Maybe because you just left her there and shadow had to come save her" blaze said
"I didn't mean to I...... I don't know,I feel so bad about it"
Which I didn't really I felt fine. I just don't want Amy ruining the dinner with her attitude so I want to make things right before hand especially if Sally is going. Because we all know she hates Sally.
"Can you talk to her about it " I asked blaze
"Sure but you owe me " she said
"Thanks" I smiled and gave her a thumbs up and ran off

Shadows POV
I walked into my room and grabbed a pair of black pants and a white shirt with a v neck I walked into my bathroom and started to take off my shirt. I'm glad that nobody saw it, rouge would have made me go to the hospital for sure. I had burns all over my back from the explosion, I got undressed and got into the shower. I tried my hardest to keep my back from touching the water because it would sting like crazy. I quickly got finished and got out.i really didn't want to go to this dinner thing but I guess I have no choice. I sighed and got dried off this is going to be a long night

Amy POV
I couldn't get shadow out of my head. His eyes were stained in my brain...no no this can't be happening! I can't fall for shadow there is no way he will ever like me...I grabbed my usual dress and got into the shower. My head normally fills up with images of me a sonic but today it was shadow and me. I became really excited for the dinner because I knew shadow was going to be there. I got out of the shower and got dried off and dressed. I picked up my phone and called blaze
"Hey"said blaze
"Hey, so who all is coming tonight ?"
"Everybody I think sonic,knuckles,silver,Sally rouge,shadow, tails,cream,me and you"
"Okay thanks blaze"
"No problem girl,....oh and your not mad at sonic are you?"
"Well kinda"
"Is it about him not saving you be-"
"No it's not that"
"Then what is it Amy?"
"I just....I don't like him anymore and I feel so dumb because I have chased him around all these years"
"So that's why you are acting different?"
"I guess so..I was trying to find away to let him know I don't like him anymore"
"Just tell him at dinner"
"Good idea blaze,well I gotta get going so I guess I'll see you at the dinner"
"Okay bye Amy"
I hung up phone and smiled
