Chapter 27

Shadows POV
I woke up early in the morning. The first thing that came to my mind was texting Amy. so picked up my phone and did just that.
Shadow : hey
Amy: hey 😊
Shadow : you want to grab some lunch ?
Amy: yes I would love to
Shadow : I have some apologizing to do
Amy: apologize about what ? You didn't do anything
Shadow: meet you at the little café on the corner in 15 minutes
Amy : okay see you then
I put my phone down. I have to make her mine again .... I thought to myself

Amy's POV
I woke up to shadows text. I smiled when he invited me to have lunch with him. Things were just starting to get back to normal. I got up and got dressed. Then I headed down to the little café. I got there first so I sat down at a small table in the back. Shadow soon arrived.he walked over and sat down.
"H-"
"Before you say anything I just want to say that I'm sorry .."he said looking at me in the eyes
"It's okay shadow " I smiled
" no Amy you don't understand...I need you " he added
I felt like jumping out of my chair I was so happy.
"Will you be my Rose again? " he asked
"Of course shadow " he picked up my hand and kissed the back of it.
"Thank you" he said
"What is this ?" Rouge said as her and knuckles walked over to us
" oh hey rouge " I said smiling rouge sat down by me and knuckles sat by shadow.
" so what are you two doing here alone?" Knuckles asked
" I had to get my girl back " shadow said looking at me
"Awe congrats " rouge said as she nudged me with her elbow
" have you guys ordered yet ?" Knuckles asked
" nope we just got here " shadow said
" then I guess me and rouge are just in time " knuckles chuckled
We all sat and talked for while until we were all done with our food. rouge and knuckles left so it was just me and shadow again. Shadow paid the bill again and we left.
"So what now?" I asked
"I figured we could just take a walk" he said looking at me
"Okay" I smiled
Shadow grabbed my hand and smirked
" hey is that Sally ?" Shadow asked pointing up the road
"..woah I guess it is, it's been forever since I've seen her " I said
" I thought she left town" shadow said
" she did " I replied
As we got closer I noticed it really was Sally.
"Hey Amy !" She said running up to me. We gave each other a hug
"Where have you been " I asked
"Well I moved but I have decided to come back, I have missed you guys so much" she smiled
"We have missed you too " I smiled back
"Who's this " she said pointing at shadow
"This is my boyfriend shadow "
" lucky girl, you have a hot one there " she laughed
"Yeah and he is all mine " I said holding shadows hand tighter

Shadows POV
I smirked a little. How cute, Amy is getting jealous I thought to myself. After Amy need the conversation with Sally we turned and walked away.
"I couldn't help but to notice that you got jealous when she said that I Was hot " I smirked
"Well yeah who wouldn't " she said looking back at me
"She is the biggest flirt I know " she added
" well I'm sure she won't stay long " I said
"Let's hope " she laughed
I glanced at the sky, I was running out of time.. I wanted to take her to see the sunset.i glanced at my emerald.
"Chaos control" I yelled
"Woah you could have warned me" she giggled
"It's more fun this way " I said moving her head so she was looking at the sunset
"Wow .. It's so pretty " she said
"I thought you would like it" I said sitting down. She sat down beside me and put her head on my shoulder. This is how it's supposed to be I thought ... It was a mistake to break up with her...but at lest I have her now. I Kissed the top of her head. We sat and watched the sun go down. Our eyes met and I leaned in.
"I love you" she said as I kissed her. I moved closer to her and I put my hand on the side of her face. I eventually pulled away.
"I love you too Rose " I said
Her face lit up with happiness as she smiled at me. And for the first time in a long time I smiled too.
