Chapter 7

Amy's POV
I walked into my room and opened my closet.should I wear a two piece or a one piece I thought to myself.i held up both swimsuits trying to decide. I'll go with the two piece,after all I just got it.i smiled and put it out and grabbed a cover up and wrapped it around me.i glanced at my home only 26 more minutes.

Shadows POV
I grabbed a pair of swimming trunks and slipped them on.i walked down into the kitchen and gathered stuff up to make hamburgers. Why am I doing this,I don't wanna see that faker and I already know Amy is going to ignore me. I sighed maybe this wasn't a good idea. I picked up my phone and texted rouge and asked her if she was going and of course she was. I glanced at the clock. Shit I'm going to be late. I ran to my room and I slipped on a shirt and grabbed a towel.

Amy's POV
I heard a knock at the door and I ran to it. I fixed my hair and opened it hoping to see shadow.
"Hey Ames" sonic said with a smile
"Oh hi sonic "
"Sally isn't isn't coming so I thought that I would walk you there instead"
"Oh okay,let me grab my stuff" I walked over and grabbed all my stuff
"So is shadow really coming ? " sonic asked
"Well yeah of course"I said with a smile
"Ugh ..he is no good "
"What do you mean sonic ?"
"He is a bad guy Amy... You need to stay away from him"
" what ! No he is a nice guy once you get passed his outer layer "
"Amy there is nothing nice about that guy "
"Whatever are we leaving or not" I snapped
We started walking down to the beach. I was actually kinda mad at sonic that he would say that about shadow. He really was a nice guy when he wanted to be.
"I'm sorry Ames" sonic said
I looked up at him
"It's alright sonic"
We finally reached the beach.i looked around trying to find shadow but the beach was completely empty. I sighed and threw down my towel and sat on it.sonic laid his towel down and also sat down.
"Are you going to get into the water this time ?"I asked
"Maybe....only if you are by my side " he looked at me and smiled
"Are you trying to get with me" I asked confused
"No, I just feel bad about the other night so I want to make it up to you"
"Well stop okay, I don't like you like that anymore sonic"
"Wait .. You don't ?" He said
"Nope not really"
"HEY SONIC" silver yelled as he ran down the beach and plopped down next to us
"Hey silver !" Sonic said
I looked over to see that rouge and knuckles were walking down the small hillside to the beach with blaze fallowing. She was carrying all of silver's stuff.
"Hey everyone" I yelled
"Hey girl" said rouge as she walked over to me
"Sorry I'm late guys, I had to pick up cream " tails said as he came running down to meet us. Cream smiled and waved at everyone. After a few minutes everyone out settled in. We had all of our beach towels lined up. I turned to blaze and rouge
"So what's up" I asked
"Oh nothing much, I just came back from a date with knuckles " rouge said
"Awe how was it" blaze asked
"It was amazing " she said with a smile
I turned around to see shadow walking down the small hill. I jumped up to my feet and ran over to him.
"You came!" I said hugging him
"I'm a man of my word Amy Rose " he said
"Put your towel over there and I'll grab mine and come over and sit with you I really don't feel like sitting with the crew right now I just want to talk to you" I said
"Alright, you don't have to tell me twice " he said as he laid down his towel
I ran over and grabbed mine
"Where are you going" sonic asked
"I just wanna talk to shadow for a few minutes" I said
"Oh okay , I'm thinking of getting in the water soon so hurry back" blaze said
"I will" I yelled as I ran over to shadow. I put my towel right next to his and I sat down.
He looked over at me and I smiled
"I really love your smile, you know that right" he said as he looked away from me
I giggled a little bit.
"Thanks shad, but you know there is a lot of things I like about you too" I said
He looked at me confused. Which made me giggle again.
"Like for one I really like your eyes..and I also really love your little puff of fluff their on your chest" I said smiling
"Thanks Rose" he said with a smirk
"Rose ?" I asked
"My apologies,.. I'll call you Amy from now on" he said looking away
"No I really like it" I said as I reached over and hugged him
"Your friends are going to see you" he said
"I don't care, let them see me" I said hugging him a little tighter
"As you wish" he said with a smirk
"Wait what ?" I said kinda of confused
He then grabbed me and began to tickle me. My mind started racing, I can't believe shadow can be this playful. I started laughing like crazy. And he showed on signs of letting me go.
"Shadow stop please" I said laughing
"Oh come on, you don't really want me to stop " he said with a smirk
I started laughing even louder, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't control myself. Everyone else started to noticed. they looked back at us but shadow stopped before anyone could see what he was doing. I punched his shoulder lightly
"Don't do that again" I said still laughing
"You okay up their Amy !?" Sonic called out
"Yeah I'm fine !" I yelled back wiping off my tears.
I looked back at shadow who was still smirking at me.
"I never knew the ultimate life form was so fun" I said with a smile
"Rose there is a lot of things you don't know "he replied
"Well I want to know everything" I said as I laid my head on his shoulder
" then you will find out in time " he said

Sonics POV
"I wonder what was so funny" I said
"Don't worry about it sonic all the matters is that she is having a good time" cream said
" she was crying "I snapped
"She was laughing sonic calm down" rouge said
I look over to see her resting her head on shadows shoulder no I thought to myself this can't be happening! I cant believe that she would do that right in front of me!
"What is she doing!?" I said
"Awe look at the two love birds " rouge said
"They are so cute " blaze said
"That is kinda cute " Knuckles said as he looked back at them
" whatever , you guys wanna swim ?" I said to try and change the topic
"Sure" said silver as he stood up
"hey Ames we are getting in the water !!!" I yelled
"I know they are, but are you !!! " she yelled back
"Uh .... Yeah you know what I am " I yelled back
Everyone looked at me surprised
