Chapter 18

Amy POV
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. With out opening my eyes I answered it thinking it was shadow.
"Hey Ames "
Ugh no I thought as I sat up and opened my eyes
"What sonic "
" I was calling to let you know what time to be at silvers house"
"Okay what time ?" I asked
"1:00pm "
" isn't that a little early for a cookout ?"
"Yeah well we are going to get some fireworks "
"Fireworks ?"
"Yeah it will be super fun !"
"Uh alright I'll be there "I said
"Okay awesome ! "
I hung up the phone and laid back down and called shadow
"Hello ?" he said in a tired voice
"I'm so sorry ! Did I wake you? "
" it's okay Rose "
" sonic called and he wants me there by 1:00"
"Why did sonic call you???? " he asked
" I don't know he just did, so that means you need to show up at 1:00 with me so I'm not alone with sonic and silver."
"When is everyone else showing up ?"
"Around 4-5 I think "
"Alright I'll go with you I'll be there at 12:50 to get you "
"Thanks Shad "
" no problem my Rose "
"Bye "
" bye beautiful " he said as he hung up the phone.

Shadows POV
Wait why did I say that ? I sound so soft. And why on earth is sonic calling my Rose !? I'm going to have to have a talk with him if he doesn't stop. I can't risk him taking her away from me. I stood up. Maybe I'm just overthinking ....nah I definitely need to kick his ass.

Amy's POV
When it got closer to 1:00 I got into the shower and got dressed as I was doing my makeup my phone rang. I walked over to it and saw it was sonic. I sighed and answered it.
"Yes sonic ?"
"Hey Ames are you on your way ?"
" not yet shadow is coming by to pick me up soon"
"Oh ...I thought he was coming later " he said
" nope I asked him he wanted to come early and he said yes"
"Um alright .... see you soon"
"Bye " I said as I hung up

Why does always sonic act weird when I mention shadow .. I thought as I finished my makeup. Soon after I finished the door bell rang.
"Come on in !" I yelled. I heard the door open and close
"I'm almost done !" I said as I put on my shoes
"Take your time " shadow said
I looked at myself in the mirror one last time before walking out into the living room. Shadow looked at me and smirked.
"What?" I asked as I walked over to him.
"You look hot " he said as he gave me a quick kiss
"Thanks Shad" I giggled
"So you ready to go?" He asked
"Yup " I said as I grabbed his hand. We both went outside and started walking down the street. Silver didn't live to far away .
"So why is sonic wanting you to come by so early ?" Shadow asked
" he said something about fireworks "
" and why did he want you to come ?"
"I don't know it's sonic we are talking about " I said smiling
We reached his house and I knocked on the door. Silver opened it and sonic ran over to me.
"He-" silver started
"Hey Ames !!" Sonic yelled
"Hey silver ... Hi sonic "
"Now that we are all here let go get some fireworks !" Silver said
"Right behind you buddy "sonic said
We all started walking down to the nearest firework store.
"So shadow how have you been ?" Silver asked
"I've been alright " shadow replied
" how about you Ames ?" Said as he smiled at me
"Amazing " I said as I looked at shadow
"Blaze thinks you guys look really cute together " silver said smiling
"Tell her I said thanks " I said
Out of the corner of my eye I see sonic roll his eyes. But I ignored it.we reached the firework store and silver ran in leaving us behind.
" looks like silver is excited " shadow said
" yeah well we had been waiting forever for you to show up " sonic snapped
" we weren't too late" shadow snapped back
"Whatever " sonic spat as he walked away
"What's his problem " I asked as I looked at shadow
"Who cares " he replied
"Hey Ames !" Sonic yelled
"What! " I said turning around facing towards sonic
"Come over here for a sec !"
"Alright" I said. I turned back to shadow
"Be right back " I added as I walked over to sonic
"Ames what type should we get ?" He asked holding up two different types of fireworks
" um that one " I said pointing at one
"I knew you would say that " he smiled as he took a step closer. We were almost touching
"Too close " shadow said as he put a hand on sonic and pushed him back
"Don't touch me " sonic said
"Hey guys look at this !" Silver shouted. Sonic turned and walked over to him
" I don't like the way sonic is acting " shadow hissed
" it's fine shadow, just try and have some fun " I said as I kissed his cheek
" okay I think we have everything" silver said as he walked over to check out
"About time " shadow said
"Shut up " sonic mumbled
"You wanna say that a little louder " shadow snapped
"Say what ?" Sonic said smiling
"Ready guys ?" Silver asked as he walked out.
We all fallowed him as we started walking back to his house.
"Thanks for coming with me " silver said
"No problem, so where is blaze ?" I asked
" she is back home making the food" he replied
" congrats on moving In Together" I said smiling
" thanks Amy " silver said
" how long have you guys been together ?" Shadow asked
" 5 months but it feels like a Lifetime .. I mean that in a good way" he laughed
"I know what you mean " I giggled
" oh Ames remember that old ice cream shop me and you used to go to all the time ?"sonic asked
"Uh ..yeah ? "
"They opened it back up again " he smiled
"Cool I guess " I shrugged
We used to go there all the time when we were dating. It was kinda weird that he would bring that up in front of shadow. We finally got back to silvers house. Silver ran in.
"Hi blaze we are home !!!" Silver yelled
"Hi guys " blaze said as she walked out of the kitchen
" hey blaze " sonic said as he sat down
" food should be ready soon" she said
We all sat down and started talking until the others started arriving.
