Chapter 20

Shadows POV
My mind started racing no this can't be! Why would they go to the ark! And what have they done! I turned to Amy.
"Give me my chaos emerald I have to go up there !" I yelled
"I'm coming with you" Amy said
"You can't Amy I have to go alone" I said holding out my hand.
"No me and Amy are coming end of story " sonic said standing up
"Fuck you! " i yelled
" I can help! " sonic yelled back
"I don't need you help!!" I snapped
" Amy hand me the emerald " I said looking back at her
"Promise me you will take me !" Amy said
I looked up at the sky. I'm running out of time.
"Just give me the emerald" I said reaching for it. I was trying to ignore her question i didn't want to put her in any danger.
Amy's POV
I wanted to go up with him but I could tell he was starting to get frustrated. So I handed him the emerald. Sonic patted me on the back as he took it from me.
"Chaos control! " shadow shouted
"Wait !" I said as I grabbed him. Sonic was holding onto my dress when it happened
I opened my eyes and I was blinded by flashing red lights.
"Amy what were you thinking ?!" Shadow yelled over the sirens
"This place is huge! " sonic yelled
" what the fuck are you doing here !?" Shadow hissed as he shoved sonic
"Shadow !!" Rouge yelled as she ran up to him
"Rouge what the hell were you thinking !?" Shadow snapped
"Eggman was trying to get into the computers and the alarms went off, you have to shut it off" rouge said gasping for air.

Shadows POV
I was pissed. Not only did rouge go behind my back but sonic and Amy had somehow teleported up with me.
" where is eggman " I said
" I don't know anymore, he wasn't where he was before "
I nodded and ran down the hallway. I stopped at a big medal door, this was the control room. I placed my hand down on the scanner.
" what are you doing" sonic asked
"What does it look like faker, I'm Opening the door " I looked back down at my hand. The scanner lit up red. Shit that should have worked, oh wait duh I thought as I took off my glove. I put my hand back on the scanner and this time it lit up green and the door opened. I ran in and started pressing the shut down buttons.

Amy's POV
I fallowed shadow into the room. It was filled with blinking buttons and a huge tv screen.i looked at shadow who was quickly pressing the buttons. A scanner that was behind me blinked yellow and made a loud beeping noise. Shadow walked over to it and laid his ungloved hand on the Sensor. It blinked green and the alarms went silent and the red lights went away.
"Welcome back shadow the hedgehog "
" woah what was that !?" Sonic yelled
"It's a recording " shadow said as he put back on his glove
"Well done shadow " eggman said as he walked in the room
"You have no business being up here " shadow said turning around looking at eggman
Rouge walked in the room behind him.
"You told me you weren't coming rouge " shadow said turning his attention to her.
"And you told me the same thing " rouge replied
"Well I'm glad you finally changed your mind shadow " eggman said
"I didn't change my mind, I had to choice to come. " shadow said looking back at eggman.
"But shadow you are the only one that is still alive that can access the files " eggman said walking closer.
" and I intend to keep all the files hidden, the last thing earth needs is some idiot who thinks he is a genius, to be playing with something he doesn't understand" shadow said adjusting his glove
" oooo this is getting goooood" sonic whispered in my ear
" you have no idea what your talking about shadow " eggman said
" it's painfully obvious that you will kill everyone trying to mess with robotnik's ideas,  you can't even battle sonic without getting your ass kicked !" Shadow yelled
" just help me access the files then I will leave" eggman said walking even closer
"No, and I will personally make sure that you never get your hands on those files " shadow hissed
" you are over thinking this shadow " eggman said with a nervous laugh
" leave eggman " shadow said taking Step closer
"Alright alright I will leave.... Let's go rouge " eggman said looking at her
"I think I'll stay with shadow " she said as she looked at shadow
"No you sonic and Amy are all going back with him. I'm staying here for the night "
"No I not going with him " I said
" yeah there is no way I'm going with egghead " sonic yelled
" I like that you think you have a choice in the matter" shadow said looking at sonic. Eggman walked out of the room and sonic fallowed giving shadow a death glare.
"Please don't make me go" I said looking at shadow
"You have to " shadow said
"Come on Amy " rouge said grabbing my arm
"What no rouge I want to stay " I said trying to pull away
"You heard shadow let's get out of here " rouge replied as she basically dragged me out of the room. She pulled me into a small dark corner.
"I'm not leaving " she whispered
"What ? " I whispered back
"We are going to hide until eggman leaves then we can come out. " she smiled
I nodded my head. We sat in the dark corner until shadow left the control room.a few minutes later.
"Well I guess they are gone .." Shadow said to himself
"He talks To himself ?" I whispered to rouge
"I guess so " she shrugged
"We can come out now though I think eggman has left" I said standing up
I peaked around the corner and I didn't see anyone. 
"Let's go into the control room " rouge said as she walked in
" how do you even know what button to press" I said as I walked over to all the blinking buttons.
"Who knows " she said as she sat down in a chair and started typing
"What are you doing ?" I asked
" I'm just gonna check some things out about shadow " rouge said
" we shouldn't " I replied. We both heard a glass cup fall to the floor and shatter.
" what are doing here !?" Shadow yelled
