Chapter 4: The Fight

After she smiled at me I couldn't help but smile to myself and get butterflies in my stomach. This was a weird feeling. I've never felt this way about a girl. After 3rd period, 4th period went by fast. It felt like 10 minutes! I walked to the cafeteria and walked towards the vending machine. I remembered I had a dollar in my jeans and I used it to by a bag of cookies. I pushed in te numbers: 187 and saw my cookies fall into the basket.

After grabbing my cookies I walked out to where my friends were. I greeted them like I usually do and opened my cookies.

"Aye let me get one bro" Said my hungry best friend Max, reaching for one.

"Nah man get your own!" I smacked his his hand away.

"Ouch! Why you gotta be so mean bro?"

"Because I love you" I said while fluttering my eyes.

"You're so gay" he said before punching my arm softly.

"I know" I said before pushing him a bit.

Me and Max act gay with each other some times. I know it weird but it's actually really funny.

After a few minutes of messing around with my friends I noticed Coda walk by me with wet hair and her clothes looked soaked. My friends starting laughing at her. I gave them all a glare before running after her.

"Hey what happened to you?"

"N-nothin.." She sounded like she was crying.

I stopped her in her tracks and stood right in front of her.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing" her eyes started to water.

She closed her eyes and a tear drop escaped her beautiful eyes. I whipped it away and pulled her into an embrace. I could feel people's eyes on us but I didn't care.

She started crying on my shoulder. I rested my head on her head and waited for her to stop crying.

"What happened?"

"S-she" *hiccup* "pushed me.." *hiccup* "into the fountain.."

"Who?!" I yelled pulling away from her.

She flinched and I pulled her in again.

"The schools cheerleading captain.."

"Why?"

"I don't know.."

"Ok, from now on you stick with me. I know my reputation is bad but trust me people will leave you alone."

I walked her to the one stall bathroom. I took my sweater off and told her to take her shirt off before she got sick. She did as I asked and put my sweater on. She looked super hot in it.

When we walked out of the bathroom I was immediately pushed into a wall by one of the cheerleaders boyfriend, Kyle. Without hesitation I punched his face and pushed him off me.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I yelled out.

"Stay away from my fucking girl you fuck boy!" He ran into me knocking me down.

He got on top of me and started to punch me. I swung as hard as I could towards his face, knocking him off me. I got up and was getting ready to kick him when Coda stepped in front of me and closed her eyes tightly.

I stopped dead in my tracks not wanting to hurt her. She  opened her eyes and walked towards me and was slowly pushing me away from Kyle . I got lost in her eyes. I could hear people yelling and stuff but i was focused on Coda's eyes.

"What is going on here?!" Yelled the principal.

"He attacked me!" Yelled Kyle with blood running down his nose.

"N-no he didn't!" Yelled a scared Coda.

"Shut up you bitc-" I cut him off.

"Call her a bitch and I will kick your ass!" I stepped towards him but Coda pulled me back gently.

"Alright that's enough!" You, you, and you in my office!" Yelled the principal while pointing at me,Coda, and Kyle.

All three of us walked into his office and sat down. Coda was between me and Kyle. If she wasn't next to me I would probably beat the hell out of this guy.

"Ok so what happened?"

Me and Kyle started yelling out what happened.

"I wasn't talking to you two! I was talking to the lady!"

"M-me..?" Said Coda shyly.

"Yes you miss"

"Well...Kyle came up to Zack and started punching him...and Zack was just defending himself.."

"Ok, Kyle your suspended for 3 days. And Zack you have detention" said the principal.

Kyle stood up. "WHAT?! Your actually gonna believe this little whor-" I cut him off again.

"Call her a whore and I'll beat your ass again!" I stood up as well.

"Ok that's enough!" The principal yelled.

"Out of my office now! And no more fighting you hear me!"

"Yes sir" me and Kyle said at the same time.

Me and Coda walked out together. I felt my lip throbbing. I touched my lip and saw that I was bleeding. Kyle had busted my lip. Damn..how am I supposed to kiss Coda now..?
