"Coda Jennings" said the principle as I saw my beautiful girlfriend walk up to the stage and grab her diploma.
"THATS MY BABY!" I yelled. She looked so beautiful in her blue dress. Her hair was curled, she had her glasses on, just a little bit of make up and a necklace I bot her for our 1 year anniversary.
" And Zack Jones with a speech" said the principal as I walked up to get my diploma. For senior year I got chosen to say a speech in front of everyone. Oh my gosh I'm so nervous. He goes nothing.
"Teachers, students, parents. I just wanna say these last 4 years of highschool were uh a roller coaster. I was your average 'bad boy' I guess you could say. But all that ended when I met my beautiful girlfriend in Junior year. She changed my life forever. Because of her I went from bad grades and a bad reputation to amazing grades and a good reputation. Thanks to my teachers for not giving on me. Thanks to my mom for always standing by me. Thanks to Coda Jennings for making everyday worth living. High school has changed my life. I'm glad I can say I made it through 4 years of hell." I laughed. "But thank you parents for not giving up on us. Thank you all!" I said finishing off my speech.
Everyone cheered and from the corner of my eye I saw Coda covering her face. She can be so cute sometimes.
"So what now?" I asked Coda and hugging her from behind.
"Zack...we need to talk.." Oh no...I hate those words..
"What is is baby?" I asked worried turning her around.
"I got accepted into NYU" she said biting her lip.
"That's great baby!" I said picking her up and spinning her around.
"I'll be there for 4 years because of my scholarship. I won't be able to see you for 4 years.." She said with tears forming in her eyes.
My heart shattered into a million pieces. "Babe...are you serious...?" I ask
"Yes...I'm gonna miss you so much.." She said wrapping her arms around my neck. I wrapped mine around her waist.
"You can't...I don't wanna lose the love of my life..."I said hiding my face in her neck.
"Zack it'll be okay...ill visit every holiday an ill call everyday. We'll make it through these 4 years."
"Babe...I can't...."
"Yes you can! Ok? It'll be okay." She said reassuringly.
"I love you.." I said.
"I love you too" she said back.
"Zack.." She paused. "I think I'm ready.." She said nervously.
"What?" I asked.
"I said I'm ready...you know about the thing.." She said looking down.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Mhm...tonight?" She asked.
My heart skipped a beat. She was ready?
"Ok baby, I'll make plans for tonight and I'll make sure your first time is amazing."
"Ok babe.." She said blushingly.
