Chapter 20: Oh hell no

A few days past and It was now Saturday again. I ended up catching the stomach flu and got sick. It was so bad that I couldn't get out of bed. My little sister came into my room to help me get up and stuff but I felt like shit.

"I don't feel so well.." I groaned out while my sister was feeding Mileena. She ended up falling in love with the kitten.

"Oh no you don't, I don't need to be picking up puke again. When mom gets back from work I'm going to a friends house okay?" She said calmly.

"Nooooooooooooo. I need you to take care of m- wait which friend?" I asked rubbing my tummy.

"Oh just a friend..." She faded out the word friend.

"Katy...which friend? Is it a guy?" I asked, kind of demanding.

"Yes...? But he's just a friend! I swear!" She yelled.

"Oh hell no! Your not going anywhere! Does mom know?!" I yelled.

"No...but we won't do anything! I promise!" She yelled back.

"Katy...I was 14 once too and I know how these guys are. Your not going anywhere. Either he comes here or I come with you."

"But-"

"No buts! Choose."

"UGH! Fine! He'll come here.." She said while crossing her arms.

"What are you guys gonna do any ways?"

"We were just gonna hang out...watch a movie and stuff.."

"Yeah and that's why your not going over there. I know what stuff is. I'm not stupid."

"Whatever!" She yelled and stomped out of my room.

I'm very protective when it comes to my mom and sister. There the only girls that ever really loved me for me. They've always been there for me and I'll always be there for them.

I remember when my "dad" left us. My sister was 11 and I was 14. She was so devastated but I didn't know what to do. I was her only brother and the only man in the family now. It was my job to do what my "dad" couldn't do.
