Chapter 17: Leave me alone

I couldn't remember how or when i woke up this morning. I just kinda blacked out and by the time I realized where I was, I was in my 1st period staring at the guy who assaulted Coda.

I wanted to rip his head off and kill him for trying to hurt her. I wasn't gonna let something like that happen again to her. If someone was gonna touch her it should be me. I promise I won't let anyone else lay a finger on her.

"Take a picture it'll last longer!" Said the guy.

"Nah, you'll break my camera with your ugly ass face!" I yelled back.

He just rolled his eyes and smirked.

"I heard your dating that nerd..she good in bed?" He asked with a big smirk on his face.

I couldn't help but feel angry, he was talking about Coda like that and I didn't like it one bit.

"Maybe I should try taking her for a ride if you know what I mean" he said laughing.

"Shut up!" I yelled getting out of my seat making people stare at me."Don't lay a fucking finger on her, you hear me!?" I yelled.

"Zack! Principals office! NOW!" Yelled the teacher pointing at the door.

"Whatever" I said grabbing my things and walking out the class. On the way out I slammed the door and made my way to the office.

I was in the office for about an hour or so before I was released. It was now 3rd period and as I was making my way to my class, I see what made me black out once again.

"Zack!" Said a voice that made me snap back into reality.

"Zack your gonna kill him! Stop!"

I looked around to see a crowd around me. I was choking and punching the guy that messed with Coda. I had no idea what I was doing until Coda grabbed me from behind and pulled me away.

"Wait I-"

"Zack! What the hell were you thinking?" Asked the teacher.

"I-I don't- I didn't- what did- what-" I couldn't get the words out of my mouth.

"My office now!" Yelled the principal.

I walked with Coda to the principals office and sat down next to her.

"Ok, Coda. Im sorry you have to go through the this again but, what happened?" Asked the principal.

She looked at me with fear in her eyes. Did she have something to do with this?

"W-well...I was talking to this guy in the hallways and Zack just came up and started punching him while choking him.." She said in a whisper.

My heart shattered into a million pieces. How could she be talking to another guy..?

"I see, Zack this is the 10th fight you've had in your last 4 years of high school. I might need to expel you" said the principal in a serious tone.

"But i-"

"No buts! One more incident like this and I'll expel you!" He yelled.

"Whatever" I said getting up from the chair and making my way out of the office. I slammed the door and slid down the wall next to it.

I burred my face into my arms.

Why can't I remember...why did she lie...

I heard the door open and close shut when I felt a hand rub against my arm. I moved my shoulder to shake it away. I just wanted to be alone.

"Z-Zack..?" I heard Coda's voice say.

"Leave me alone...I don't wanna see nor talk to you.." I said in an angry voice.

"Zack I can exp-"

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yelled getting up from the floor and walking away.

How could she do this...the only girl who I thought was different was just like everyone else..
