But everything changed when something– no, someone caused her pain. A pain who made her lose herself and made her stop believing in love. A pain that made her make a long and thick wall between people except her family. She kept herself distant from everyone. She avoided attachment from anyone because she said, "Once you get attached to other people, you will care for them. Once you care for them, you will love them. And once you'll start loving them, you're already giving them the satisfaction to hurt and break you."

He is David Jade Monticello. Proud, mess maker, wreck less and a player. The mayor's son. The soon to be owner of Monticello University. The boy who never gets tired of playing with girls and their hearts. The boy who wins all the girls heart with a smile and a wink. The boy who depends only on his two best friends and himself

But they didn't know that he's a lost boy with a shattered heart. He was never a player. David was born hopeful, understanding, sweet and loyal. But one incident made his world stop spinning. An incident that caused him pain. A pain that made him lose himself and made his life a lot more than a disaster. He locked himself from people even the ones close to him, his parents but his two best buddies were exceptions. He made himself not to care for anything and anyone. He hid every pain inside him and handled it all alone because to him, "The person you care for will take you for granted. The person you love will leave you. Being close to someone will only break you so might as well stay away from them because the only person you can depend on is yourself."

Two lost souls and shattered hearts. Hiding in the darkness, locking themselves from their bitter past. All they thought is they never needed someone, that they're contented with their lives.

What if their paths will cross? What if they meet each other? Will they feel the connection they have? Will they feel that they're on the same path?

But what will happen if their connection is through something they never knew that would break them even more?

Will it break them apart? Or will it help them rebuild each other into something better?

This is my first story in wattpad. I started this when I was still in the 6th grade so expect many typographical and grammatical errors. Medyo magulo pa din po ito kaya I'm very much sorry for that but as soon as I finish this story, I will really edit this. But I really hope and pray you guys would enjoy this story :))
