~Five~
"Wake up Styles! We're going shopping!" A high pitched voice rang in my ears. I murmured in coherent words as I turned to see Joanna snooping around my room.
"What are you doing?"
"Just looking." She went to my comic book shelf. "Yeah, you cant have these out. Oh and I checked your closet on what stays and what goes. You have one decent shirt in there you know that?"
I rolled my eyes, knowing she couldn't see it. I wasn't ready to start the day off. It's Saturday morning- and an early one at that- it's only 7:30. I don't wake up until 8:30 to watch my cartoons, and even then I'm hardly awake.
"Why are you up so early?" I rubbed the tiredness out of my eyes.
"We're going shopping. Now get your arse up. You need a lot of work."
"Where's Harry?" I looked to see my brother was no where in sight.
"He's downstairs. He gave me weird looks but I kind of used to it." She walked back to my closet. I looked over her to see she had cleaned out my entire closet. "Put this one on. It's the only one that isn't dorky."
I put the shirt on and some of my regular pants. I grabbed my glasses from the nightstand, and went to freshen up. I grabbed some gel and put a good amount in my hair.
"Alright let's go." I exited the bathroom.
"Jeez Marcel. You and Harry are twins, why is it you don't dress like him?" She cocked her left eyebrow.
"I focus on studies, not looks." I simply replied.
"But Harry's smart too, yet popular. Why don't you take lessons from him?"
I didn't know at all to be honest. Harry was right after me when it came to the smartest people in school. He wasn't stupid, he just knew how to hide it. He wasn't focused on smarts, he was captain of the football (soccer) team and all the girls went after him.
"Okay, well you just spaced out, so let's go." She pulled my arm and led us downstairs. My mother was sitting in the kitchen, reading a book.
"Hello sweetie. Nice to meet you Joanna, see you two later." My mother smiled and sent me a wink.
"Yeah, have fun." Harry exaggerated the word.
"Now this is going to be so much fun. Once this is over, we need to work on your people skills."
"Oh goody." I answered sarcastically.
I don't know what's gotten into me, but when ever I'm with Joanna I get sassy. I think I get it from Harry's friend Louis. He's a actually a great mate. He and the others are all friendly. They stick up for me, but it isn't always nice because then they get picked on.
Not anymore. This year I turn things around. This year I'm going to be on the other end of the school line. This year, I'm going to be on the top.
Nothing is going to break me down.
