First Day

19th of May
Week 1, Thursday

Lauren POV

"And now we are here again", I sighed as we got out of the Taxi. I breathed in the warm air and turned around. I actually really missed the Studios. I missed spending there so much time.
"Come on, I'm hungry", Jeff smiled and we all went inside.
Our room still looked the same. Just like we were there last week. We put down our things and decided to go eat immediately. We still had plenty of time before the first game even started, so we took our time at the buffet.
Fnatic was already there and so we sat down on their table.
I sat down next to Febiven and gave him a long kiss.
"Guys, get a room, please", Hiêu laughed.
I let go of him and looked at my Jungler: "Well, then we just use our room."
"Oh, woah. Please don't. We still need this room for our meeting."
I shrugged: "You told me to get a room." Then I showed him my tongue.
Febiven nodded to show that he was my opinion.

After we ate something, Febiven and I decided to take a little walk around the parking lot behind the Studios. I missed him a lot and I needed some time just with him. I wasn't even nervous about the upcoming game against Origen. Febiven gave me strength just by being with me.
I smiled at him: "It's so warm." It was such a good feeling to finally be able to get outside without a coat and a scarf.
"Oh yes, now we can finally do something outside again."
"True. Now we don't have to stand in the snow anymore", I laughed: "Even though our first kiss was still romantic. With all that snow around us."
"Even though it was cold?", he raised his eyebrows.
"Even though it was cold", I confirmed and sighed in happiness. I really liked that memory. It was cold back then, yes, but everytime I'm thinking about it, a warm feeling comes up around my heart.
He looked at me and smiled.
I touched his cheek with my left hand, cause my right hand was united with his left hand.
Once again I had to sigh. I just realized how happy he made me.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
I raised myself on tiptoes and gave him a long kiss.

Vic POV

We sat at the buffet with Origen. Now that we were all living in Berlin, we even got closer friends with the boys. I looked at Seika, who was talking to Soaz. Yeah, sure, of course she's not in love with him. Just the way she looked at him proofed me that I was right. But he also had something in his eyes when he looked at her.
I felt a bit lost, cause everybody was talking to someone. Freyja with Peke and Mithy in Spanish. Seika with Soaz in French. Amazing with Kilian and Power of Evil in German. I felt a bit weird, cause I only spoke English. Well, some people say that I speak two languages. Normal English and British English. How funny.
I looked at my plate. Still a bunch of spaghetti. I sighed, cause I wasn't really hungry. I was nervous about the game. I put the fork on the plate and stood up.
"I'm gonna go back into our room", I said.
"Are you okay?", Levi turned around: "You haven't really eaten anything today."
"I'm alright. I just need some alone time", I smiled and went back in the direction of our room.

It was still a bit weird to walk around the hallways of the Studios. I mean, I was backstage. That felt so strange and unusual to me, but also good.
"Hey Vic", I heard a voice and turned around.
Spirit and Rekkles were right behind me.
"Hey", I hugged both of them.
"How are you?", Rekkles asked me.
"I'm fine, just a little bit nervous maybe, but I try not think about it. And you?"
"I'm good."
Spirit just nodded.
"You are playing the third game, right? Against H2K?", Rekkles wanted to make sure.
I sighed: "Yes. Well, at least we aren't playing the first one."
He gave me a cute smile: "You will do fine. Just try to ignore the audience and the cameras pointed at you. And when you are ingame, you will only have eyes for the game anyway."
That helped a bit, but nevertheless, I still just wanted to go home.
"We will see", I said a bit timid and looked down.
"You can do that", Rekkles said. I looked up to him. "But we have to go now. Our game will start soon", he winked at me: "Good luck for you later."
"Thank you", I blushed a bit: "Good luck for you too." They walked past me and I stood still. I didn't move until they were in their room.
I breathed in heavily and then went quickly into my room.
