Romantic Moment

Week 3, Friday

Seika POV

"Wow, what an amazing and exciting game", Freyja rolled with her eyes and turned her back to the screen.
I chuckled, but kept my eyes on the stream. Origen just won against Elements in 22 minutes with a score of 18-2. In favor of them of course. I was so happy for them. Finally they won both of their games this week, while we were 0-1 already.And now we had to play against Vitality, which didn't make it any better.
Luckily I was able to see Soaz before that game, so he could motivate me even a little.

As soon as he came backstage, he went straight to me and gave me a kiss. It was a passionate one, something we normally only rarely had. But I could feel how happy he was about this win. About this whole week. He really needed this motivation boost, in order to keep going. I knew that it would have hurt him pretty badly, if they lost one or maybe even both games this week. But I was confident in them. I knew that they would do well against Roccat and Elements.
Soaz slowly let go of me and poked my nose with his right forefinger: "And now it's your turn. Good luck and write me as soon as possible, okay?"
I nodded and smiled: "Thank you. I will do that. Hear you later."
I gave him a short kiss and then packed my things and went on stage.

The pick and ban phase was pretty stressful for us. We all concentrated so much and tried not to make any mistakes. We knew that we will have it hard in game, so we didn't want to make it harder for us by leaving anything open. Lanya worked out a good composition for us, where we all felt comfortable with.
We finished the pick and ban phase with confident feelings. We nearly got everything we wanted and Vitality didn't get anything, where we would have tilted already.
Lanya's voice was filled with motivation: "I guess we did all a good job here. Now you only have to execute everything as we spoke about it. We trained this composition hard in scrims this week, so Vitality shouldn't have an easy time here. Levi and Vic, I want constant communication between you both. Always make sure where Shook is and keep the other lanes updated. Kili and Seika, play it safe. Keep the lane passive and try to get some deep vision as soon as Hjärnan and Kasing are leaving the lane. So, good luck, boys and girls!"
"Thank you", we all said and nobody of us had concern in their voices. Probably cause we knew that this game was going to be hard and our nervousness would have just made it even harder for us. Also, it was just week 3 and we stood 2-3 as a new team, which wasn't too bad.

The game itself didn't feel stressy or hard in any way.
Early game was actually really relaxing. Just super normal laning phases. Everybody farmed their way up and nobody attempted a big fight. Nobody really got ganked and nobody really roamed. It was just really soothing for us to get some free gold there.
As soon as the laning phase ended and the first fight at the dragon pit, broke out, we could even made an even trade with them. 3 for 3, but dragon got smited away by Shook. But it didn't bother us. We were all just so happy that we could keep it even.
Even though we couldn't see the gold difference, I was sure that they weren't ahead too much. Maybe 2k or 3k. But nothing more.
Every teamfight from now on, was so even, it was nearly creepy. We always managed to get someone of them down too, so they could never do nashor for free.
But then we made a huge mistake. We didn't expect them to do nashor after the last teamfight. Everybody was alive, except for Nukeduck and Levi. But Vitality was so low that we just thought recklessly that they wouldn't do the purple worm.
Well, we were wrong.
After we heard baron's scream, we all just sighed and I could feel that some of my team started tilting. Including me.
We just threw away everything we achieved and gave Vitality a free lead.
From that point on, it was just chaotic. The next teamfight was the game decider. We all just fucked up and Vitality could easily push, since it was already minute 40 and our deathtimers were too high. And they had a fed Hjärnan and a tanky Cabochard.
