11th of June

Lauren POV

After Mary wrote me that she will be home in about 5 minutes, we all grouped in the living room and waited for her to arrive. We all wanted to be there for her, cause we all knew how hard it was for her to finally make this desicion.
When she left the house about 4 hours ago, she looked confident and sure about what she would do. She couldn't go on with this relationship with Kasing. It was too much for her.
As the door got unlocked, we all stood up and waited for her to come to us.
The first thing she did, was falling into my arms. She started breathing heavily and then she started crying too. I stroked her back: "What did he say? Is it over now?"
Mary just nodded.
We slowly sat down and let her calm down. She wiped away her tears and tried to keep calm, which was really hard for her. It was a long and deep relationship, but in the end, it just didn't work out.
"Okay", she said and fanned herself with her hands: "Like I already assumed yesterday, he knew it. But he tried to stop me from going ahead with my plan. He nearly begged me to stay with him, but I just couldn't do it anymore." After this sentence, she leaned her head against my shoulder and looked down.
Of course she was hurt. Their relationship was something really special for her, but Kasing was always really jealous about anything. She couldn't do anything anymore. It was like Mary was a whole different person. She couldn't really go out with us, but she also couldn't do anything alone. It was a doom loop.
"But now you are free", Hiêu leaned forward and grabbed her hands: "And what was the conclusion?"
"I said that I couldn't do that friendship thing, so we will just stay away at first, I guess", she sighed.
"That will be the best. It is really hard to be friends after a relationship", Hiêu shook his head.
Jeff and I shared a look at each other and just had to smile. Well, we made it, but it needed a long time and much drama in order to let us be best friends.
After we shared that glance, we realized that everybody was looking at us.
"We are something different. Don't take us a role-model or something like that", Jeff tried to defend us: "Also, we were way younger and needed way more time to achieve this, okay?"
I nodded and took a look at Febiven, who obviously wasn't too happy with this topic, but he nevertheless smiled at me. Of course, it was awkward to talk about this in front of your boyfriend.
"So, what are we gonna do now? Going out?", Zhen grinned: "Mary, you choose. What do you want to do?"
She thought about it for a few seconds, before answering: "I guess, I just want to play League and do nothing?"
"Seriously?", our midlaner looked a bit disappointed.
Mary shrugged: "I just want to be myself again now. And me, myself, wants to play League right now."
"Then let's play some dynamic queue?", Hiêu suggested.

Freyja POV

"And your team doesn't need you today, for sure?", Peke made sure once again.
I sighed and rolled my eyes: "Yes, like I said, Lanya takes our day-off very serious. Also, I already promised you to cook with you one day."
"Good. So we don't have to rush anything", he said and grabbed a package of Spaghetti: "Or do you want different noodles?"
"No, Spaghetti are alright", I smiled.
The whole day already, I was so excited for driving to Peke and cooking with him for the Origen boys. Since we met, he always wanted me to cook something for him and today was the day. But he told me that he would help me, cause he didn't want his kitchen to be burned down by me.
"And we're gonna make a tomato-basil sauce to it?"
I nodded.

After we got everything we needed, we headed back to Origen's gaming house. I was actually really happy to finally spend some alone time with Peke without Mithy constantly following us. He is a really good friend, but sometimes I just needed some alone time with my Spanish midlaner.
"Oh, by the way, nice Tweet yesterday", Peke winked at me: "You surely beat me."
"I-", I looked down, cause I felt that I blushed a bit: "Well, at least my farm was better than yours. So that solo-kill on me, only got us even with the gold."
"Sure, ginger", he grinned and poked my cheek: "But you played really well. You have improved so much since we met."
"Th-thank you", I gave him a little smile, but then quickly changed the topic: "Woah, I'm so hungry already."
Peke laughed: "Me too actually."
