Feelings

Week 4, Friday

Lauren POV

"I'm just so happy to play the first game now", Mary sighed as we walked backstage: "After that game, we can just drive home and I don't have to deal with Ray's drama again."
"Again? I thought that you kinda made up?", Zhen looked at her really worried. He always really cared about Mary's feelings. Maybe he always cared about them a bit too much.
Our toplaner sighed out once again: "I thought that too, but now he thinks that I only wanted to clear everything, cause I have another boy. I honestly don't know what I should do."
"Break up with him", Hiêu said as if it was that easy and shrugged.
Mary gave him a serious glance: "That's not funny. We are together for so long now."
"Not even half a year, so please. If he still treats you like that, after you made your point clear, I see no problem. He is for sure a really funny and nice guy, but all I can see, is a sad and frustrated Mary. He doesn't make you happy anymore."
I made big eyes, cause I never heard Hiêu talking like that about stuff like that.
"You are probably right", Mary murmured: "But I-."
"You don't love him anymore. I can see that", Hiêu just rolled with his eyes: "Now stop finding excuses for him and break up, for fuck's sake."
Nobody said a word, cause Hiêu just said out loud, what we all have thought since a while already. Kasing was for sure one of the coolest Supports you would meet at the LCS, but he was just way too over-jealous when it came down to Mary. He didn't trust her at all and she suffered too long from that already.
"And of course we will be there for you", I put an arm around her and pulled her into a tight hug: "You know that we will always be on your side."
She nodded: "Thank you."
Hiêu gave us an awkward smile: "I didn't mean to be so rude, but I think you should have known."
"You are right", Mary looked down: "I will try to ... to do that tomorrow."
"Good", I smiled: "And we will be there for you tomorrow. And now don't let your head down, we have an important game."

Gamers2 looked really strong already this Split. They were just one spot above us, so if we could win this game, we would be tied with them, which would be super awesome.
The game was a bit shaky though. I could really see how much Mary struggled against Kikis, because of what we just talked about. Normally she would have just rekked him, but today it was different. But Hiêu kept his promise and was there for her like he was in real life. He camped her lane so hard and Kikis was so behind that it was just easy for us in teamfights.
Nevertheless, it took us nearly 45 minutes to close out this game. But a win, is a win.

As we came back to our room, Kasing was already waiting there for Mary. I could see in his face that he was actually really excited for her, but I felt that she was super nervous.
I pressed her hand a little and gave her a motivating smile.
But before we even reached Kasing, Heinz pushed himself in between: "Be ready in about 5 minutes. Then we will head to the fanmeet, alright?"
We all nodded and walked into our room, to leave Mary and Kasing alone.
"What do you think are they talking about now", Zhen asked.
I shrugged: "I don't know. She will probably ask him if he got time tomorrow. She wouldn't dare to break up with him now."

And I was right. Shortly before we left for the fanmeet, Mary came back into the room and looked a bit relieved.
"How was it?", Zhen asked a bit too enthusiastically.
She sighed: "I asked him if we can meet at his place tomorrow and he agreed. But I think he already knows what's up, since I didn't even gave him a proper kiss. I just hope that it will be alright tomorrow."
"It will be", I smiled and stood up: "And tomorrow, when you will come home from him, we will all be there."
"You too, Lauren? Aren't you at the Fnatic house?"
"Nope, Febi sleeps at our place tonight", I smiled.

The fanmeet was really cool this time. I mean, it's always really cool to meet our fans and to talk to them, but this time, it was just completely different. They were all so happy to see us and it felt even more amazing than all the times before.
Even Mary smiled and laughed with our fans. She looked really happy and I haven't seen her in that mood since a really long time. She really enjoyed it.
