Week 2, Thursday

Seika POV

First game today. Again. Against Gamers2. Yay.
As if I wasn't nervous for today already. No, it wasn't like I would see Soaz again today.
We wrote like everyday since our kiss, but nobody of us mentioned it with one word. So, I wasn't too sure about how to feel about today.
When we got out of the car and into the Studios, I knew that Origen must have been already there or that they will come soon, cause they played the third game against the Unicorns.
"I think we should go and get some food first, okay?", Lanya suggested.
Everybody nodded, but I was so nervous that I didn't want to eat anything.
"Ah, come on", Vic took my hand: "When you see the food, you will get hungry."
"Hopefully", I murmured.

We sat down on a table, but I hardly ate anything. Especially when Origen entered the room, I just wanted to throw away my food.
Freyja and Vic grinned at me.
"Stop that", I looked to Soaz and noticed that he was smiling at me. I couldn't help and smiled back.
"See, it's easy", Freyja smiled.
I shook my head: "No, it's not. The moment he sits down, I want to run away. I bet he didn't like the kiss."
"Shut up", Vic punched my softly: "Look how red his cheeks are. Even from this distance you can see them glowing."
"Yes, cause they are most of the time that red."
"But today it's different."
I couldn't answer, cause Vic moved to another place and turned around: "You can sit here."
I turned around too and looked into Soaz's face. Oh god, Vic. Why did you leave me?
"Thanks", he smiled and sat down. Then he leaned over to me and hugged me. Just a hug. Well, what exactly did I expect? Would have been even more awkward if he would have kissed me now. So, I was fine with that.
"And already nervous?", he said smiling.
I nodded: "A bit. I mean, it's G2. Are you nervous?"
He shrugged: "Can't be worse than last week, can it?"
I laughed a bit: "True. But you will do good today."
"I hope so. I mean, we have to."

I was actually really happy to play the first game, cause then the nervousness won't last for so long. We can just go on stage and play our game. We don't have to wait. It's really relieving actually and I also enjoy the crowd. Cause they just arrived, but they aren't too over-hyped, but also not too lazy already.
"I want a really good vision game. Gamers2 are really relying on teamfights and they won't engage out of nowhere. So, we need really good and deep vision. Always make sure to buy many pink wards. Levi, you are on a strong toplaner, we need you to get ahead early. So, Vic always make to sure to be a bit topside. Midlane just play passive. Perkz is a really strong laner, so make sure not to exaggerate too often. And Kili and Seika. You have early advantage, use that. Now good luck, my boys and girls."

The game itself wasn't really exciting too. Gamers2 are just looking really strong this split. Okay, they really had some weak opponents in the first week. To be honest Elements and Roccat aren't the worst opponents to face. But they did have a harder time against us. But the only struggled a bit in early game.
It was a shaky game overall, but in order to get better, you also have to lose sometimes. Cause that's just how you see your mistakes.
Nevertheless we were all a bit down when we came backstage.
"Come on, let's go to our room", Lanya told us and we followed her.
We all sat down and looked really devastated.
"It wasn't such a bad game. You played early game really good. I really liked your vision in mid-game, but as soon as they got a little bit ahead, I could see that you all weren't concentrated anymore. We will fix this, no tilt is allowed in any state of the game", our coach smiled at us: "Anyway, I'm still happy with this game, cause it started so well. Now let's go home and get some rest."

But before that, we had to pass Origen's room. Soaz was already leaning in the doorway and gave me a little smile. I hugged him maybe longer than usual. I just enjoyed that he was so near to me and I caught myself enjoying his smell. I smiled and felt so good.
"You did really great though", he said as he let go of me.
"Thanks", I blushed a bit: "Good luck for you. I will watch it at home."
"Thank you", he smiled: "Some dynamic queue later?"
"Sure", I said, waved my hand and walked away with my team.
