Strange Feeling

Vic POV

Today we had to play the first game against the Unicorns of Love and we were all so nervous again. We sat at the buffet, but this time with NonPopular, cause Origen and Fnatic were playing later that day. Against each other. We were all so hyped for that game.
"And how is it to play the first game? How is the crowd?", I asked Mary, who was sitting right next to me.
"We actually only ever played one first game during the regular Split. Some teams play nearly only early games and some only late games", she laughed: "But it was amazing. Everybody is so hyped and excited. Especially when it's their first time at the LCS. But in fact, it isn't really different."
"Okay", I sighed. I just hoped that I won't have a blackout on stage. But I was for sure that Lanya would always keep our backs. She was just such a good coach and mentor for all of us.
"You are playing against the Unicorns, right?", Zhen, who was sitting in front of me, asked.
I nodded: "Yes, I just hope that we can somehow pull of a win."
"You've nearly beaten H2K yesterday, so Unicorns won't be such a big deal for you", Mary gave me a cute smile: "Just do your best."
I smiled: "I hope so."

As we entered the stage, I wasn't so overwhelmed. I actually expected a huge party out there, but the crowd wasn't so different than yesterday. That lightened up my emotions and I could relax.
We were blue side and everybody was really happy about that.
We all logged into League and Teamspeak and trolled around before shit was about to get real.
"For every kill today, I will buy a round of shots tomorrow and for every death Levi has to buy a round, okay?", Kilian laughed.
"Oh god no", Levi sighed: "Guys, we won't die today, okay?"
"Now I have the urge to feed", I joked around: "Just cause I want Levi to spend all his money."
"Stop it, Vic!", he laughed.
Lanya calmed us a bit down: "I don't want anybody of you to get too drunk tomorrow, so we will make a 1-1 score and win, okay?"
"Easy", Seika said: "I don't see a problem with that."

I don't know if we played like this cause of the bet or cause we just trained really hard. But after the game, Levi just couldn't stop laughing, cause Kilian just realized after the game, how many rounds he will have to pay for us. Maybe he should have done the bet the other way around.
The game lasted for nearly 30 minutes. It wasn't so exciting, but it was a really strong game by us. The score in the end was 11-3 for us. Our composition was so well thought-threw and we played it perfectly. The Unicorns just weren't able to do anything against it. After we shook their hands, we went backstage, where NonPopular was already preparing for their game against Elements.
"See, I told you", Mary hugged me: "Good game."
"Thanks", I smiled: "Now good luck for you."
"Thank you", she smiled and packed her stuff.

We went back to our room and put our stuff there.
"Okay, this will be our first fanmeet", Lanya smiled: "Are you all excited?"
"I just hope that there will be some people", Frejya scratched her head.
Kilian waved his hand: "We already do have some fans. Don't worry about that."

The fanmeet was really fun. There weren't so many people, but for our very first fanmeet, we were impressed. Some even said some nice words to us, like "I really like your teamplay. It's so fun to watch." and some even knew us from Challenger Series. I didn't know that people actually watched it.

We went back to our room and were ready to head back to our gaming house, but Origen and Fnatic cut our way. They just arrived and they all congratulated us on the Win.
"I watched it on my phone", Rekkles smiled at me: "I liked that Kalista pick of you. Really strong."
"Thank you", I blushed a bit. What an awesome compliment by such an amazing ADC.
"I heard that you will be going out tomorrow?", he asked me.
I nodded: "You too?"
"Maybe. If yes, we will see us tomorrow, okay?"
"Yeah, sure", I smiled: "Good luck for your game."
"Thank you", he pulled me in for a short hug and then went off with his team.
