Sorry guys for the lack of updates latley! But my working schedule is really tight this week. Always working until 10 pm. But I'm free on Friday and Saturday and then I will hopefully have some time to write more chapters for you!
But now I wrote a chapter right after my work, just cause I had that idea in my work and needed to write it down. Sorry if it's a bit of a filler chapter. But I was tired AF as I wrote this hahaha

Week 2, Friday

Freyja POV

My team and I were standing right behind the stage and watched the first game together with Origen's coach, Vitality's coach and Elements. It was really intense and already lasted for 50 minutes.
Peke was standing right beside me and I could feel that he was just as tensed as me. It was a back and forth game. Already 7 drakes were done. 4 by Origen. 3 by Vitality. Both teams had Baron already, but neither of them could close out the game even nearly.
"Nashor will spawn in 30 seconds", I heard Peke whispering.
"They need to fight now", Lanya said: "This is the perfect chance."
Origen prepared everything for Baron and had some good vision setups.
"No, what are they doing?", Peke put his hand in front of his mouth.
Origen completely lost their nerves and threw the game with a terrible teamfight. Vitality didn't even go for Baron after that, they could push threw Origen's base easily, cause the death-timers were far too high already.
"Shit", I sighed and looked to Peke, who just shook his head. The game went so good, but it was just not enough. Vitality played their composition better.

A few moments later, Origen came backstage and I hugged Mithy. He looked really tired and devastated. They were now 1-3 in the Summer Split. I couldn't really believe what was going on there. I just didn't get it.
"Well, now you have to win", Mithy smiled at me: "But Elements is no competition." He winked at me and then walked off with his team.
Except for Peke, he stayed until we could go on stage.
"Just ban out Gilius' champs", Peke laughed: "Then he can't do 1v9."
I had to laugh too: "Will be fine I guess. I hope!"
Peke pulled me in for a hug and even gave me a short kiss on my hair: "Good luck, Freyja."
"T-Thank you", I blushed a bit. He usually never says my name.

I was still in a sort of trance as I plugged in my stuff. I slowly sat down and put on my headset.
The minutes before the pick and ban phase started were a bit weird for me, cause I wasn't really there with my thoughts. I heard my team talking about some random things, but I didn't really understand what they said.
Only when the pick and ban phase started, I got concentrated again. Like immediately.
I was pretty confident after the Champion Select and had a good feeling. Lanya seemed happy with our picks too and left us all with a Good Luck.

The game was fairly easy compared to the game from yesterday. Well, Elements and Gamers2 aren't just on the same level.
Our early game started out so good. We didn't let Elements come back for a minute. We never even gave them a chance. All the drakes were ours. All the towers were ours.
It felt too easy and we kinda were afraid that we will somehow manage to lose to game nevertheless, but we could pull off a strong win after nearly 30 minutes.

We shook Elements' hands and Levi got interviewed by Pulse.
In the meanwhile we made our way backstage, before we head off to the fanmeet.
I took my phone and already had some messages from Peke about the game. But the last one made me really smile.

nice ahri plays :) really enjoyed watching the game!
spanish midlaners are just the best ;)

I stared at my phone and grinned.
"What's up?", Vic asked and tried to take a look at my phone, but I locked it immediately.
"Nothing", I said and put my phone back into my backpack.
"Aha?", she raised an eyebrow: "Did I miss something?"
Suddenly Seika stood at the other side of me: "Did I miss something too?"
"W-what? No", I felt that I was blushing again: "I just got some nice messages from friends."
"Friends?", Vic said.
"Of course, friends", Seika said sarcastically.
But before any of us could say anything more, Lanya told us that we have to go on our fanmeet now. I was really relieved that I didn't have to answer more questions and immediately went out of our room.
