Chapter 30.

Axel's P.O.V
So we're back in here again, fuck. I think I hate the hospital now, like really hate it. I just wish fucked up shit could just quit happening to Riley and I. This is becoming more and more depressing.

Riley did get shot, Lisa got his thigh and he needed surgery to get the bullet out. I was stroking his hair as I watched him sleep peacefully. His heart monitor showing me he was holding up good. The blood and drip flowing into his body slowly and the oxygen pump still helping him breathe made me feel a little uneasy.

His eyes started to open and I smiled as they did. I could now see the beautiful shade of blue he held as his eye color. Absolutely amazing.

"Hey Baby Boy, are you feeling okay now?" I asked. He nodded before pulling me to his chest. I cuddled into his chest as he played with locks of my hair. "Is she dead?" He whispered the question.

"No." I answered. He let out a sigh along with a groan of annoyance. "D'you think you could go to her room and like, suffocate her or something?" He asked sweetly. I chuckled and shook my head.

"We can't kill her in hospital, we'd go to jail." I whispered. He sighed again before he made me looked up at him and kissed me gently. I kissed him back, loving his lips on mine. "I love you." He whispered adorably. "I love you too." I whispered back.

A few weeks later.
"Happy birthday!" Riley screamed as he straddled me. I groaned in annoyance and pushing him off me. "Axel!" He whined like a baby. I groaned again and turned my back to him as I pulled the covers over my head.

"Leave me alone." I mumbled. I heard him huff before he got out of bed and came to my side of the bed. "Wake up Daddy." He whispered adorably as he squished into the small space I hadn't taken up.

He cuddled into my chest making me moan softly. I moved back allowing him space to lay next to me. "Happy 24th birthday Daddy." He whispered. I smiled and kissed his nose. "Thank you Baby Boy." I whispered back. He nuzzled me before kissing my cheek.

He's so adorable.

"How's your leg?" I questioned as I struggled to fall back asleep. "It's okay." He answered. "Can you walk properly?" I asked next. "Define properly." He said. "Without limping or squealing in pain." I answered.

"Oh, well I guess I can't walk properly." He whispered. My face fell and I hugged him tighter. "I'm sorry Riley." I whispered. Again, he wouldn't be in pain if I hadn't fallen for him.

But I couldn't help myself, now I'm going to go crazy like Lisa trying to protect him because I can't let him go. I love him too much to leave him, he's my everything, he's so precious to me it's unbelievable.

But I'm literally a walking trouble magnet. If I'm near him, he gets hurt, if I'm not near him, he still gets hurt. "It's not your fault." He said snapping me out of my head. I sighed in frustration and held him tighter. "It'll always be my fault Riley." I sighed in frustration.

"Axel don't blame yourself." He said as he looked into my eyes. I sighed and held him closer. "I'm sorry for loving you." I whispered. "Thank you for loving me." He whispered back. I sighed again which made him cuddled into my chest.

"I love you Axel with or without your drama." He whispered. "I love you too Riley, I just wish my life wasn't so fucked up." I said lowly.

He decided to straddled me and I let him. He laid on my chest making me wrap my arms around his waist. He kissed me gently and I kissed back. Enjoying the feeling of his lips on mine I couldn't help but moan.

"I love you so much Axel." He whispered as we continued to kiss. "I love you too Baby Boy." I whispered back, loving how close together we were.
