Alyssa widened her eyes, looking behind her to find Kevin.

A very angry Kevin.

"You tell Ben first and not me?" Kevin asked, glaring at his wife. Alyssa tried to talk, but it felt like her body was refusing her to do so. "What in the world, Alyssa?! Why didn't you tell me first?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise. I was going to say it-"

"When, Alyssa?! When?!"

"On our wedding anniversary!"

"When is that?"

Silence took over the room. Ben crept out, not wanting to get in the middle of anything. Alyssa glared at Kevin as tears ran down her cheeks, sanding up angrily.

"You forgot our anniversary?! How could you?!"

"You didn't tell me about your cancer not being terminal!"

The couple began to fight, surprisingly not waking up up Mitch in the process. Scott was a different story. He woke up quickly, his eyes turning red immediately.

"SHUT UP!"

Alyssa and Kevin stopped yelling at each other and looked over at Scott, their eyes turning yellow. The Lead Alpha scoffed and stood up, making sure Mitch didn't wake up. He walked up to them and shook his head, sighing heavily.

"Why are you two fighting? Tell me, now."

"We had a fallout," Kevin answered, grabbing his keys. Scott watched the Beta walked out of the house, not understanding why he just left. Alyssa bit her lip and Scott was about to ask about what happened, but she ran upstairs as she cried. It was then that Mitch woke up, confused by everyone yelling.

"What happened?" The Omega asked, still tired. Scott sighed as he sat by Mitch, even more stressed from what happened today.

"Kevin went out for a ride and Alyssa is upstairs crying. I don't know why though," Scott answered, smiling when Mitch nodded tiredly. "Avi and I need to leave for a couple of hours. Tori and Alyssa will be in their rooms if you need anything."

Mitch nodded as he laid back down and closed his eyes, going back to sleep. Scott smiled and noticed Ben and Jessi come downstairs, their smiles wide.

"We're going to my parents' house for a while. They're already here. See you in a few!"

Scott nodded, wondering why Alyssa and Kevin fought. Kevlyssa never fought. Throughout their relationship, the both of them listened to what they had to say and stayed open minded with each other.

Now it's World War Three with Betas, smart people that know how to fight back but didn't know when to stop.

"Scott?" Avi asked, Jordyn in his arms. She cooed and giggled a bit. "We need leave now. Are you bringing Melody?"

"Why would I bring Melody?"

"You're an idiot, Scott."

"Why? For not bringing my daughter with me?"

"While your husband is asleep and in pain from surgery, which he had not even four days ago?"
