"Addie. Addie wake up. Jenny says it's time for breakfast," Caroline said shaking my shoulder.

I rolled over and opened my eyes. The sun was shining down on my face from one of the windows in the room. I threw back my covers and got up from the bed to follow Caroline downstairs for breakfast. When I got down there someone whistled at me and I turned to face my best friend, Evan.

"Nice P.J's," He said walking past me in superman pajama pants and a black t-shirt. I was wearing grey sweatpants and an KISS tank top that I found in the drawer beside my bed from the last girl.

"You too," I replied following him.

The smell coming from Jenny's cooking was incredible. I sort of felt bad for her. There were fifteen of us here. And with a werewolf appetite it wasn't easy to cook enough food for us all. Yeah, werewolves. That's what we are. Half human- half wolf. No we don't shift on every full moon, we can shift whenever. And Wolfsbane does hurt us and it's sister plant WolfsBlade is the only thing that can kill us.

"Earth to Addie!" Caroline said waving her hand in front of my face.

I blinked and came back to earth. Jenny just handed me a plate stacked with three pancakes, ten pieces of bacon, three eggs, and two pieces of toast. Along with a hot cup of coffee. I loved Jenny's coffee. I pretty much loved everything Jenny cooked.

"So what are we going to do today?" Evan asked me.

"I have no clue. It's Caroline's turn to pick," I said as she sat down beside me.

Once everyone had gotten their food we began to dig in. Evan, Caroline and I talked more than we ate so everyone else except for three other little kids went to go do their own thing. I was just about to start on my pancakes when the doorbell rang from the entryway.

   "Jenny!" Caroline and I yelled.

Jenny hurriedly went to open the door but none of us where paying attention as we were solely focused on our food.

I heard Jenny in the living room as she started introducing the kids to whoever was at the door. I had just gotten a face full of egg when Jenny walked in.

"Evan!" I laughed wiping the egg off of my face.

"You like them more than I do," He said grinning.

Jenny cleared her throat and we all turned to face her.

"Kids, these are the Oliver's, Liz and James. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver, this is Evan, Caroline, and Addeline," Jenny introduced us.

I grabbed a napkin and wiped my face clean, "I'm so sorry for looking like this. Evan was trying to be funny."

"I'm funny and you know it!" Evan replied.

"Funny looking," Caroline said smiling.

I saw the Oliver's pull Jenny into the hallway and I used my hearing to listen in.

"Who is the one with the brown hair again?" James asked.

"That's Addeline. She was brought here about a year ago when her parents died," Jenny replied.

"That's so sad. What's Addeline like?" Liz asked.

"She's very sweet, and outgoing. She can have a temper sometimes because of her being a werewolf, but she keeps it under very good control. More than most kids," I heard Jenny explain.

"We have two other kids at home. One younger and one older. How does she get along with kids?"

"She loves little kids. And they enjoy having her around here. She gets along with most of the older kids here to, but being so close in age they do argue sometimes," Jenny said.
