I ordered doubled cheese pepperoni pizza and spicy chicken wings for lunch. Ah, yes! The perks of living alone. You can do whatever you want and most importantly you can eat whatever you want! I'm gonna stuff my face with pizza and wings! I also got myself a can of beer!

Naupo ako sa carpet habang ang mga pagkain ko ay nasa living room table. I opened the television and decided to watch my favorite Chinese drama, Go Go Squid!

Go Go Squid is really a great show! It's fun and light. It's about friendship and romance between a nineteen year old female genius student and a twenty nine year old CTF professional player and coach!

Kumuha ako ng slice ng pizza at kinain yun. I almost closed my eyes and danced because of how delicious it is! Nagpatuloy akong kumain habang nanonood ng palabas. I took a sip in my beer and I felt so refreshed!

Napatingin ako sa pintuan ng mga mag doorbell. Finnick's here already? Tumayo ako hawang ang pizza at kaagad na binuksan ang pinto.

"You're here fast," sabi ko sa kanya.

Napatingin ito sa hawak kong pizza. Inabot nya ang kamay kong may hawak ng pizza at kumagat duon. Pumasok kameng dalawa saka naupo.

"Eat. May beer pa sa ref, kuha ka nalang."

He smiled. "You're having a feast," natatawa nyang sabi saka tumayo at dumiretso sa kusina.

Ngumuso ako pag balik nya. Kinuha nya ang mga beer sa ref. "I just felt like eating a lot today," sabi ko.

He sat beside me and sipped on his beer. "You okay?"

Tumango ako. I sighed and continued eating. Truth be told, I sometimes stuff myself when I feel depressed. It's either I don't have an appetite or I'll eat anything in sight. Nothing in between.

"Let's skip your lessons today," he said and looked at the TV.

Ngumuso ako. "Why?"

Umiling ito. "Studying everyday is bad for the brain, it can get exhausting so..." nagkibit balikat sya.

Ngumiti ako. "Alright," I said and smiled.

"By the way..." he cleared his throat. "I'll be gone for three days,"

Kumuha ulit ako ng pizza saka kinagatan iyon. "Hmm, okay."

He pursed his lips while looking at me. "I'll be going on a business trip overseas. I'll be back as soon as I finish,"

Inabot ko iyong beer ko saka uminom duon. "It's fine. Take your time,"

Bumusangot ang mukha neto. "Don't go out late while I'm gone,"

Tumango ako. Hindi naman talaga ako pala labas ng gabi. I only go out in the mornings and afternoons.

"Will you be fine here alone? Do you want me to send you a bodyguard?"

Tumaas ang isang kilay ko. "No! Are you my dad?" umirap ako dito. "Don't overreact. I'm already eighteen. I'm not a child for god's sakes. I can handle myself,"

The side of his lips rose. "Alright, flower."

I pouted and creased my forehead. Lalong lumawak ang ngisi neto. Umiling na lamang ako at magpatuloy sa pagkain. We changed the movie into a horror one.

We both slumped ourselves into the couch and got comfy. Pinatay din ni Finnick ang mga ilaw. Napahawak ako sa braso ko nang maramdaman ang pagkalamig. The aircon is too cold!
