Chapter: 2: Instincts

The Executor/Pyramid Head's Pov:

Looking over the trembling, yet relieved and confused human before me, my senses lay out all of her features within my mind.

Due to not being able to see my surroundings, my senses have been designed to be so acute and sharp that everything surrounding me, as well as around me gets created in full and complete detail within my mind. From the long, ebony black hair of the human, to a small spider crawling along a far wall, I can sense and see it all in my mind. All details within a fine distance from me are barely able to escape my unique senses.

'Why did you halt my blade, master?' My deep, powerful voice reaches the entity posing itself to be a familiar young girl. My voice being channeled through a silent method of communication, telepathy, our main source of communication to one another.

'She is of importance to us in ways I do not know of at this time, Executioner.' The small, innocent looking girl responds to me. A mere human would have easily seen this entity as one of their own, as it masks its true identity in the body of an innocent surprisingly well. Yet, every creature within Silent Hill is well aware that this entity is the last being anything on this Earth would want to get near.

'Take a moment to focus on your sense of smell, Executioner.' The entity continues. Obeying without hesitation, a moment is taken to focus on the scent of this young human. My acute sense of smell begins to point out a detail I had yet to notice about this female.

The inclusive scent of this human is nothing out of the ordinary. But, my sense of smell is able to go deeper. Deeper within her being, within her blood. There, only in the faintest, scarcest amount of existence, is something familiar. Yet the scent is so faint, I am unable to distinguish exactly in what manner it is familiar to us.

'What do you believe that implies about this human, master?'

'Once more, I do not know. But momentarily, I will. But do not fret, for you will be the first to know, as I have a task for you.'

Its words do not require a response from me, as I was created to obey every order I am given by this entity, with no questions asked.

'I request you watch over this human for the time being. Keep the little lamb in your presence at all times, until I say otherwise.'

Watch over her? The question arises itself within my mind, within the deepest reach of my subconscious which cannot be heard by telepathy. Having no other choice but to submit, simply I nod in response. Turning my head in the direction of the girl, she suddenly gasps as she realizes my attention is on her. Out of instinct, the human moves toward the entity for safety from my hulking form.

'This human prefers you, master.'

'You are quite intimidating, also given the fact you almost killed her less than a minute ago. It should be no surprise that she expresses fear towards you.' The entity speaks as though educating me.

Thinking of a new idea as to how I could get this creature to trust me enough to follow, my contemplations get interrupted by an accustomed voice in my head.

'Ditching your Great Knife may be a good start here, Executioner.' The entity states, as if it is frustrated at the fact I did not think of it sooner.
