The 10 Gateways

Founded Threat

As we start falling through the ground really fast, I felt like we were heading to the center of the Earth, if this place the gateway took us to was even Earth.

"Where are we going!?" I yelled out.

"To Lauryn, and.. Christina." Sharkky said.

"AAHHHHH!" Victor yelled.

We seemed to be traveling forever. I wondered what the portal room was. I wondered what we would do there. My thoughts just got dimmer and dimmer.

But then we stopped. We were in some sort of small room. It was horribly lit, and the ceiling, walls, and floor was made of some sort of green stone. Cobwebs were in the corners and dust was everywhere.

"We stopped.." I said. " Where are we Sharkky?"

"At the level of where Lauryn is. I can sense her. She's behind one of these walls." He replied.

"You don't know which wall!?" Victor exclaimed.

"Nope." Sharkky said.

He punched one wall and nothing happened. Victor kicked another wall and nothing happened. Dr. Roberto scraped and dug at one wall and nothing happened. They all looked at me.

"Okay, Okay." I said.

I bumped into my wall and it crumbled down immediatly. I even lost my balance while bumping into it and fell through. Victor laughed a little.

"Now where are we?" I asked.

"Woah.." Dr. Roberto said.

I got up and saw the room. It was a metal and wire wonderland. There was a greenish liquid in a pit in the middle with a narrow metal walkway bridge going over it. We started walking on the bridge going over to the other side.

Then we saw Lauryn. She was tied up to a metal cart. A woman stood next to the cart. She had black hair, with a red hairband. She had a black and red top, with a long, black skirt. She had a dark purple necklace. She looked impatient and yelled at 2 other shorter people. I immediatly recongnized her as Christina.

"We have to save Lauryn." I said demandily.

"We'll try." Victor said.

I noticed that there didn't seem a way down to the bottom level from where they were..

"How do we get down there?" I asked.

"I have no idea." Dr. Roberto said.

"Wait, who is that girl with Lauryn?" Victor asked, pointing at Christina.

"Uh.. Her name is Christina." I said. "I kind of knew her back when I was younger, she was cruel.. Stuff like that." I answered.

"Wow.." Dr. Roberto said amazed.

We then tried finding a way down. Our only choice was to climb down from the platform we were on.

"We can't just jump down.." I whispered to them.

"Why?" Sharkky asked, annoyed.

"Christina is very.. powerful." I replied.

"I don't care!" Sharkky yelled.

"Shhh!" I said. "We have to sneak down!" I yelled.

We were just getting louder and louder, attracting the attention of Christina's workers.

"WELL YOU NEED TO SHUT UP!" Sharkky yelled, getting Christina's attention, and then Sharkky jumped down on her.

I just stared in awe.

He jumped off Christina, slid on Lauryn's table around the pool while followers and everything were chasing him. He went around the pillars, around boxes and into and out of arches.

"STOP NOW!" Christina yelled super loudly.

Sharkky actually shuddered a little. Victor did too. I was used to it.

"What is going on here!?" Christina yelled back.

"I'm, uh, saving Lauryn so if you let me escape; that would be excellent." Sharkky muttered back.

"Oh yeah... WELL TOO BAD!" Christina yelled, and then waved her hand and Sharkky was forced against a wall.

"Don't hurt my friends!" I yelled.

"Oh yeah, Epic. Well, sometimes, we don't always get what we want." She waved her hand more, and Victor was flying across the room, with Dr. Roberto shortly after.

"STOP!" I yelled.

"NEVER!" Christina yelled back.

She used more magic and Victor was right next to me. Dr. Roberto had flown under me. And Sharkky was in the roof.

"PLEASE STOP CHRISTINA!" I yelled. I jumped down on her, pushing her down to the floor.

"Never.." Christina said weakly. She did one flick of her wrist and she was back to her feet.

She did another flick and a red beam hit the roof and hit Sharkky. Another flick and she was flying. And then I was hit in the face and was losing consciousness..
