The 10 Gateways

Taco Encounter

January 20th, 2008

We had been in these line of gateways for too long. Most of the group was homesick. Some of us were going crazy, and a bunch of our people are injured. I don't know what to do anymore..

I walked around the town. It had been 5 days since that fight. We've been staying in a local inn. We've been planning, thinking, hoping. I had to think. We have to beat Christina.

I saw a weird purple light from behind a hill but I was reluctant to see what it was.

I learned that the Taco King was me. An alternate version of me. The gateways do go through time and space. I should see what this light is. It's bothering me.

I went over and saw.. a taco with a dark glow to it and the shell was black. My mind went crazy over it and as soon as I noticed it was already in my mouth. My TAS was acting up.

I ate it and I started choking. I fell to the ground. and then it stopped. I fell to the ground in pain and I was all of a sudden really sweaty. Then I felt.. a sickening feeling in my stomach.. and I passed out.

"EPIC!" Someone said. "WAKE UP!" I recongnized the voice as Jenny's.

"He's not looking fine ma'am." a nurse said.

"NO!" Jenny yelled. "We need him!"

"I know, he's not looking fine ma'am.." the nurse said again.

No matter how I try I can't open my eyes. I have no control of my body..

No control...

"You are right."

"What.. who are you?" I asked.

"I am the demon that possessed the taco you ate." the demon replied.

"What!?" I exclaimed.

"Yup. And I can see all your memories and thoughts. Christina sent me here by the way. Wanted me to kill you guys." He said.

"Soon I will unleash an ultra attack on your friends. And you can't warn them." He said evily.

"No!" Epic exclaimed.

"Well, Christina is ready." The demon said.

Soon I felt my body to start growing in size.

"OMG!" Jenny yelled and she jumped out the window.

"AAAHHH!" The nurse yelled and the possessed epic grabbed the nurse and threw her.

My eyes went faint as I had no control. But I vaguely saw a giant red fist smash the roof of a small castle looking building. I saw the taco king bent over in pain as he struggled to look up at whatever I was. His servants ran to him and escorted him outside of the castle as fast as they could.

I looked down at my feet. Jenny, Victor, and Dr. Roberto were trying to stop me.

Then Victor and Jenny started talking.

"I can make a rock slingshot to stop him but it won't be powerful enough. Can I use your vampiric energy?" Jenny asked.

"Yeah," Victor answered.

Victor used his energy and infused it with the rock, with a red glowing rock to be thrown into the demon's face. He went down and he became smaller, showing Epic's real body.

"Hel..p..." I groaned out and he gurgled.

"Ew," Jenny said.

Victor sucked out the demon and trapped him in a jar.

"More ew," Jenny said.

"What? Vampires are kind of a demon so I can handle other demons." Victor said.

"Are you okay Epic?" Rie asked.

"Yeah," Epic replied.

The king walked over not sick anymore and said thanks.

Then Christina teleported from the sky and jumped down onto the king, spawning a red light over him, killing him instantly.

Everyone just stared at her with wide eyes and open mouths. Christina just smiled.

"Are you surprised?" She asked.
