Then, finally, we heard a commotion outside at about 1:00 in the morning.
"What was that?" Henry asked out loud.
We looked outside to see a bunch of people on the beach yelling and pointing at the lighthouse. The lighthouse's light was on.
"We got to check that out," I said.
Some of us were asleep. But the rest of us awoke the others.
We went outside to the people on the beach. The same surfer teen from before came up to us.
"Hey! You got here right when the lighthouse turned on!" He yelled.
"How did it turn on?" I asked him.
"Nobody has any idea how." He responded. "By the way, My name is Andrew for a proper introduction,"
"Oh, My name is Jeffrey," I said. "And these are all my friends."
"Well, you have a lot of friends here," Andrew commented.
I introduced everyone and then got to the end of the group.
"And this is- I mean that's all," I said pointing to an empty space.
"Are you missing someone?" Andrew asked suspiciously.
"No," I said.
"Ok then," Andrew said.
We all went to the shore and looked at the lighthouse. There wasn't really much about it. It was just that the once broken light was on.
"I wonder how it turned on," I said to our group.
"I have no idea," Henry said.
"We have to get a closer look," I said.
"Well, maybe the lighthouse wanted to be turned on. It probably wanted that boner." Joe said.
"Disgusting.." Victor said.
"Well, I don't know if we're allowed to go to the lighthouse..." Jenny said.
"We won't really care," Andrew responded. "We just don't recommend it."
"Do you have a boat or something to get us to it?" I asked Andrew.
"I have surfboards and two jet skis," Andrew answered.
"We'll take it," I said.
We all got his surfboards and jet skis. We got to the water and got ready. Jenny and Henry rode one jet ski, while Nathan rode the second one. Everyone else had a surfboard.
"Hey, I'll come with you," Andrew said when we were ready.
He grabbed his own surfboard, and we rode out to the lighthouse. When we got closer and closer, rocks were everywhere. Jagged edges poked out of the water, the water seemed darker, and the air seemed stale.
"This place is creepy!" Jenny exclaimed.
"Turn the jet skis on low speed," I commanded.
They did as I said. We hit the actual island the lighthouse was on. I landed first out of the surfboarders and helped other people get onto the island. Then I realized Tony's surfboard was a little chipped.
"I hit a rock..." Tony said guiltily.
"That's going to happen near here," Andrew said.
We approached the lighthouse door slowly. I opened the door and looked around. We went inside and looked around. Victor, Henry, and I went upstairs.
"Want to come with me?" Henry asked Jenny.
"Nah, it's okay," Jenny responded.
"There's like nothing here except cobwebs and stairs," I commented.
"Yeah," Victor said.
Victor and I went up another staircase. We found some old papers. But there was nothing readable on them. Suddenly, the others were running into the floor where Victor and I were.
"The ocean is like raising!" Elesa exclaimed.
"I don't want to drink it!" Joe yelled.
"Calm down," I said reassuringly.
Soon I could see the water rising and it was flooding the floor below. I looked out the window, and there was no water raising outside.
"It's magic. Someone's controlling it. Look outside," I said.
They all looked outside, seeing no water raising.
"Christina..?" Henry asked.
"I have no idea," I said back.
We ran up three more floors to get to the top. The light was still on. There were cobwebs everywhere. The water was rushing faster towards us.
"Get onto the porch!" I yelled.
We all ran to the door and went outside on the porch that surrounded the top of the lighthouse. The water flooded the lightroom and the light went out.
"That was so close," Victor said.
"Wait, who is Christina?" Andrew said.
I completely forgot Andrew was here. He didn't know a thing about the secret organization called the RPs. He didn't know anything that I was called Epic. He didn't know anything about Christina. Nothing.
"Look, since obviously, you are going to be brought with us to the next place we go, I'm going to tell you everything," I said.
I told him a pretty brief description of the RP's, My false name, and Christina.
"Am I the only one getting deja vu?" Victor asked.
"Well, I think we should be focusing on the water!" Jenny yelled.
We all turned around to see a giant wave coming to us.
"Go to the other side of the lighthouse!" I commanded.
We all got to the other side just to see another wave on that side.
"We're surrounded!" Henry yelled.
"I don't like water!" Nathan exclaimed.
"If you don't like water, how did you get here?" Joe asked.
"I was in a jet ski." He answered.
"Haha. I got you this time." A voice boomed at us.
"Who's that?" Henry asked.
"I'm the Dark Overlord and soon to be Hell Queen!" The voice yelled.
"Christina..." I said to just our group.
The waves got closer and closer as the group realized the lightroom was not flooded anymore, and Dr. Roberto was standing there.
"Dr. Roberto!" I yelled happily.
We all ran into the room and talked with Dr. Roberto for a short time.
"I thought you died," I said.
"Nah. I can always find a way to not die," Dr. Roberto answered.
Then the waves crashed into the room and it was cracking the windows.
"We gotta get out of here!" Jenny said, holding Henry's shoulder.
Then, all of a sudden the floor seemed to open up. Another portal. We all fell in.
