We landed on a metal floor. There was no natural light; just fluorescent lights everywhere
"Where are we?" I asked out loud
"You are in my laboratory," Someone said back.
I look up to see a guy in a white, clean lab coat. He had a thick beard and black hair with grey streaks.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I am Jack. Dr. Jack Fairwell." The man answered.
"Jack!?" Dr. Roberto exclaims.
Dr. Roberto gets up and shakes hands with Jack.
"Roberto," Jack said with neutral emotion.
"It's been awhile..." Dr. Roberto said awkwardly.
"Yeah, I graduated from Collard University with you, then I ran off," Jack explained.
"Well. This is a nice laboratory," Dr. Roberto said back.
"Wait, why did we teleport into your laboratory?" I asked suddenly.
"Oh yeah, I got some weird activity on my computers at the lighthouse, and I saw you guys, so I activated the portal that leads here," Jack explained.
"Oh." I said.
"Anyway, I've seen you're teleportation adventures. I've studied your strange activities," Jack starting saying.
"Stalker..." Joe whispered behind my back.
"I've realized every time you guys are in danger or are about to be in danger, you teleport away. And sometimes, you just do something to make the portal activate, like in that jungle." Jack said.
Jack went over to a TV and everyone else followed.
"As you see, in the Lemongrab Kingdom, the king and his servants heard Joe breaking that glass. They were just around the corner, but you went into that portal." Jack explained.
"I still remember breaking that glass!" Joe yelled.
"It was awesome!" Elesa agreed.
"In Tacoland, after that girl and you guys went to Hell, half of Tacoland was destroyed because of that demon taco thing, because your vampire friend dropped the jar while fighting," Jack said while showing a picture.
"Tacos..." I starting saying when Jenny slapped me.
"In Hell, The guards were right behind you, and would have gotten you guys if it wasn't for Joe and that portal," Jack said.
"And in Candy Island, the bomb and extremely high storm conditions happened and completely destroyed the island, but you guys went into that portal in the whirlpool," Jack said.
"And finally, I just opened up my portal and saved you from the waves, right before you were about to be drowned," Jack finished.
"Wow.." Dr. Roberto admired. "I always knew you were good with notes and observations,"
"Thank you," Jack said. "Anyway, i have also found some portal patterns, and I think my broken portal is your next one,"
"Broken?" Henry asked.
"Yeah. You can fix it. I bet you can," Jack says.
We all go through corridors, looking at all the rooms, then we go into the portal room. Dr. Roberto starts working on it, and Victor assists him. Henry and Jenny talk to each other in one corner of the room, Elesa and Joe sit together, Nathan sits alone, I watch Dr. Roberto, Tony, and his brother sit next to each other, Andrew stood in a corner awkwardly, and Jenny's mom and sister talk to each other.
