"Son of a bitch..." Spencer woke up and I instantly straddled him, kissing him over and over. "Whoa, hey."

"Hi." I kissed.

"What are you doing?"

"Apologizing."

"For what?"

"Don't. Be. Mad." I said in between kisses.

"At what?"

I sat back and Anne handed me a mirror. I showed him his reflection.

"So? I look-what the fuck happened to my teeth!" He screamed.

"I pulled them out." Anne answered.

"What? Why? You crazy bitch!"

"We need the bone dust of a werewolf. You're fine, since you're awake, you'll heal faster."

"No way, I can't believe you! Danielle you let her do this to me?"

"Who do you think helped to get your teeth out?"

He touched his neck, "you bit me? Danielle!"

"I said I'm sorry!"

"Shut up both of you." She knelt down besides us and pulled his lip back. "Stronger and better than ever."

His teeth were better, stronger and longer. He rolled his tongue over them and growled.

"Don't ever do that again."

"Deal." She handed him a plate of food. "Hungry?"

"What you put drugs in there so you can take my kidney?"

I took a bite. "No."

"We're so talking later about it." He snarled at me.

"Well, you can stay a night, but head home soon, you have to finish the ritual."

"Ritual? What-"

"You want to go to sleep again?" Anne threatened.

He growled. "Then I suggest you relax and watch some TV. Us girls have some things to discuss."

"I-"

She held her hand up. "Don't..."

"I'll fill you in later."

I walked with her to the back room where she kept her hardcore and commonly used herbs and spices. She closed the door and crossed her arms.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

"No you're not."

"Anne I'm ready."

"You saying but not telling. Speak only truth here."

"I am."

"So your ready to fight, even though that might mean losing your life or a love one's?"

"Yes."

"You are not." She said, shaking her head. "It's pathetic to see you here and tried to hide your fear. Fear is nothing but the anticipation of pain; whether it be physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional."

"I am not afraid. I have nothing to fear."

"That's where you're wrong. You have everything to fear. You shouldn't be ready, no one could. Not even the first prophetess."

"I can do this. I have something fear cannot defeat."

"What is that?"

"Hope."
