"Hello? Is anyone here?" I asked.

The air around was thick like mist, almost like clouds, in this extra white, almost to the point of blinding, room. I twirled around, trying to figure out where I was.

"Danielle." A light, motherly, feminine voiced called.

"Who's there?" I turned left, not exactly able to pinpoint the location.

"My name is Mother Maria. I am here as your guidance."

"Okay," I looked around. "How do I kill this thing?"

She appeared in front of my eyes. "No. We do not kill. We send John back to where he belongs."

"John?"

"John, situation pertaining, wasn't using his powers for good. We fought, and I took his powers away. He found another source, a darker source. We aren't going to be like him."

The woman had light brown curly hair with freckles. She looked no older than 25 and looked amazingly beautiful. I was taken back.

"So what do we do?"

"I do nothing. You do."

"How do I send it back?"

"You learn."

"Learn what?"

"About the Light."

She walked away, toward a hilly region when she started to give me a backdrop about everything.

"The way of life here is different then the one in your dimension. There is no death. You are born and live forever. Also, time is finite here. No day or night. No week. No month. No year. Nothing. What seems like minutes are years in your home."

"Years? So if I'm here for 5 minutes..."

"That's about 10 months."

"Whoa. I can't stay that long. Milliseconds here is what the Darkness is moving like back home-"

"John runs on this time. He could have killed you when you were born, but the time leap was too great and still confuses him. He takes his time and that's 16 years for him."

"It's weird. He his a name."

"And thoughts, feelings, and opinions. He's like me, just temperamental."

"Murderous don't you agree?"

"Yes, but the species on Earth have been destroyed so many times its unfathomable. I usually just fix it again. Let them start over. Takes about a week or so I think."

"Is there anyway to make John good again?"

"He's always been good, he's my soul mate."

"Wait...what?"

"Us Hudson women have a tendencies not to follow the path chosen for us. We don't accept our mates, well in your case, fully prioritize our mates."

"You're my ancestor?"

"Yes, and John is very angry that I had you without his permission."

"You cheated on him?"

"No. It was an immaculate conception. He wasn't ready for kids, I was, and I had your great-great-great-grandmother. He wanted a say, but I usually do whatever I want." She smiled. "She looked just like me. John wanted me to get rid if her. He said it wasn't fair, we belonged together and we should make big decisions like those together. So I made her human, but told him I killed her. He found out once your grandmother and mother rose in the werewolf community. He lost control. He wants to 'clean up'."
