Chapter 13: the battle part 1

When Inuyasha finally got up, I asked," Why are you guys here?" I asked. "We needed to give you this," Kagome said. Inuyasha have me a big long box. "It arrived in the mail for you," Inuyasha finished. I grabbed the the box. "Thanks, I'll show it to you when I get home," I say. It seemed so familiar. I couldn't think of it. "What is it?" Amu asked. "I'll open it later," I say. When we were walking, a note fell out of it. I sat down on the ground and laid the box down. I picked up the note. It said, "From Mom and Dad! Happy birthday!" I immediately dropped the letter and backed away. I was shaking. "Belle, what's wrong?" Cassandra asked. I couldn't answer her. I was too shocked. My birthday wasn't due for another two weeks, and my parents were dead. I almost cried. "Belle, what's wrong?!" Amu asked. "What is it?" Nagi asked. "A birthday present," I answered. "Belle, lets go home," Cassandra said. "Ok." I picked up the box and Cassandra held my hand. About halfway home, Cassandra asked," Can I see the note?" I took the note out of my pocket and handed it to her. 3,2,1- she dropped the letter. "I know right?" I said. "How's that possible?" I have her the look that said 'I know what you mean.'

When we got home mom said," You guys are home early!" "A lot happened today," Sandra and I said. "What's in the box?" Mom asked. "It's something important, I bet," I say. "I'm going to my room," We say. We head up there and I open the box. On the inside, there is a metal case. I don't open it because I already know what it is. "Why did dad give me his stuff? Did he know that he was going to die soon?" I thought.

I put the case in a special place in the closet and fell asleep. When I woke up, I heard rushing downstairs. "What's going on?" I ask. "Kagome is leaving, she says that there is a big battle happening with a guy named Naraku," Cassandra informed me. "You haven't gotten that far into the anime, especially this part, this happens somewhere in the last 3 episodes," I say. "Ohh." I run downstairs and see Kagome with her bow. "I want to help with the fight!" Cassandra and I say. "No!" Inu says. "I know how it ends," I point out. "Fine! Do you know to fight?" He asks. "DUH!" we say.

We hurry down the well and come out on the other side. We are greeted by a big black spider floating in the sky. "Freaking great. Stupid Naraku, you die in the end," I yell. I doubt that he can hear me but I wouldn't be surprised it he could. We run over to the 'gang' as I call them, and get ready for battle. The time finally came when we had to go and battle Naraku.

We jumped on Kilala and flew up to Naraku. When we entered, we started walking. Everything was the same in the anime, until... There was a great rumbling noise, and long rope-type things started to shoot towards us. Even better, me. Note the sarcasm. The ropes latch onto my body, and pull me into the ground. Everyone tried to help but it was no use. The last thing that I saw was everyone shocked, before everything went black.
